Ye Anqi always had something going on, but she hid it well.
"Let me help you cook." Ye Rumeng rolled up her sleeves and said.
Ye Anqi smiled brightly, "Sure."
Stepping into the spacious kitchen, Ye Rumeng asked her, "What are we making?"
"What do you like to eat?"
"Anything, I'm not picky, as long as it's tasty."
Ye Anqi laughed, "Just being tasty is a high standard by itself."
Ye Rumeng laughed, "As long as you make it, I'll eat it, how about that?"
"That's more like it."
Ye Anqi opened the fridge and took out some greens, eggs, tomatoes, pork, and a carrot.
"I'll wash the vegetables," Ye Rumeng said enthusiastically.
Ye Anqi handed her the greens, "You wash this."
"What are you planning to make?" Ye Rumeng asked while washing.
"Stir-fried greens, tomato and egg, and shredded pork with carrot."
"Not making soup?"
"There's been chicken soup simmering in the pot."
"How many dishes do you usually make per meal?"
"Three or four, I guess."
