Whenever there's a chance to be alone with Si Ye, she never lets it slip by.
She gently knocked on the door; inside came Si Ye's deep, lazy voice, "What is it?"
Chen Zhi didn't speak, pushed the door open, and then shut it behind her.
Si Ye was dressing, his upper body bare. Hearing the sound, he frowned slightly, then turned to see Chen Zhi looking somewhat anxious.
He relaxed his brow, but his gaze held no warmth, "What are you here for? So, coming into my room early in the morning, are you trying to seduce me?"
Chen Zhi avoided looking at his well-built torso, her eyes darting around, "I'm here to ask you to save Chu Yan. I just want you to save him. Si Ye, if you save Chu Yan, let's write off our grievances against each other; neither of us will owe the other anything, okay?"
Upon hearing her words, a chill flashed in the man's eyes. Si Ye tossed aside the shirt, walked slowly toward her, causing Chen Zhi to step back defensively until her back was against the door.
