He laughed, "You got pricked, it wasn't my doing."
"But it's karma, I suppose." Lin Xinlan joked with a smile.
Xiaocong asked curiously, "When did mom prick dad with a cactus?"
"A long time ago, over two years ago." Lin Xinlan replied casually.
Xiaocong, however, noticed something odd, "Mom found dad over two years ago, so why didn't you tell me?"
Lin Xinlan froze for a moment, then laughed awkwardly, "At that time, mom didn't know he was your dad."
Xiaocong became more puzzled, "Mom didn't even know who Xiaocong's dad was? Then how did you later confirm he is my dad?"
Lin Xinlan was embarrassed.
Some things shouldn't be known to children.
"Anyway, I just knew later on. Kids don't need to ask so many questions, go to sleep." Lin Xinlan said evasively.
Xiaocong pouted, "Mom is always like this. Whenever she doesn't want to answer me, she uses this excuse to brush me off."
