"Is it because of me?"
An Ran whispered softly in his arms.
Lou Hezhan just held her without speaking.
An Ran gently broke free from his embrace and took a deep breath, "Can we just let this matter go?"
"Hmm?"
His voice was very low.
An Ran pouted; in truth, she didn't think she could change Lou Hezhan's mind at all.
"I said, can we just let this matter go? I wasn't really hurt."
Unexpectedly, his hand landed on the bruise on her forehead, as if to remind her, does this not count as being hurt?
An Ran felt a bit embarrassed.
"It's... it's fine now, it doesn't hurt anymore."
"Okay."
"What?"
An Ran was stunned, realizing after a moment that when he said "okay," it meant he agreed?
An Ran breathed a sigh of relief, but before she could let it out completely, he followed up with, "You're not allowed to move out!"
"What?"
Why did An Ran feel like she and he were on completely different wavelengths?
