Li Shiping was so moved that her eyes turned red. She knew that if she missed out on Ruan Yiqian, she would never meet someone so good in this lifetime. No matter the outcome, she wanted to be brave like Shen Mianmian at least once.
Ruan Yiqian raised his hand to touch her cheek. "From now on, I'll protect you and Qiqi."
"Okay."
Li Shiping nodded, her eyes reddening even more.
A cheerful round of applause erupted around them as Ruan Yiqian held Li Shiping's hand and led her out of the restaurant.
The two of them didn't intentionally hide their relationship from anyone, nor did they announce it openly. Li Shiping always wanted to tell Shen Mianmian about it, but she felt doing so over the phone was too hasty and wanted to tell her in person.
