The refugee group originally heading towards Heaven City is still moving in that direction, but now at a much faster pace than before.
The Slave Knights lowered the sand cages from the convoy.
These were metal cages that resembled land ships, looking much like a giant pumpkin. The cage was composed of metal rods of varying lengths. They carried these metal rods in their hands as if they were long-handled weapons for protection. Once assembled together, they formed a simple yet solid cage.
The part that made contact with the sand was a series of long rods, allowing it to slide across the sand swiftly like ice skating. This prevented them from having to linger too long in the sand due to herding a group of slaves, which would otherwise lead to insufficient supplies. Since the cage was completely hollow, there was no need to battle the storm.
