The scene was utter chaos.
Some were frozen in shock, utterly paralyzed, their spirits seemingly detached from their bodies.
Others screamed and shouted, fleeing in terror.
And, of course, there were those who remained rooted in place, their faces filled with disbelief.
Aside from them...
The journalists and cameramen from the major news outlets were the busiest of all.
Just moments earlier, they had followed Tang Xiao to the entrance of the hospital ward building's lobby.
It was only due to police intervention that they hadn't been able to follow her inside.
Even so, from outside the lobby, their attention firmly remained on everything happening within.
Particularly the cameramen, who held their cameras high and documented everything as it unfolded.
Although Tang Xiao's actions were extraordinarily brief and lightning-fast, the footage didn't lie: Tang Xiao had indeed acted suddenly, striking down the middle-aged man and killing him on the spot.
