Then he said to his pet, "Feifei, come and try this!"
Feifei appeared quite happy. Its efforts had been seen by its master! Its direction had been recognized by its master.
Having gained sentience, Feifei had already come to accept that it was seemingly a discarded Mechanical Core. It believed it was only capable of being a standard intelligent control system for machinery, much like its unawakened kin. Yet now, it suddenly sensed the meaning of its own existence.
