"Jian Shiqing ran away?" Jin Luoyin's gaze was somewhat vacant, not even sure how she managed to voice such a question.
She didn't know what she should say.
Jin Zijin turned his back to them, his back trembling slightly. Yue Rujing glanced at him, then turned back to Jin Luoyin and nodded gently, saying, "Yes, he ran away!"
"Why did he run?" In Jin Luoyin's vacant eyes, a layer of mist was starting to form.
Yue Rujing was momentarily stunned, and said nothing.
Jin Luoyin continued to ask, "Why did he run? In the end, is he the brother, or is Brother Zhu the brother?"
By the end, her voice was nearly a hysterical roar.
What if Jian Shiqing is the brother? What if he is Fu Jian's son?
Confronted by her questioning, Yue Rujing at a loss for words.
A fifteen-year-old girl, all he could do was watch as she pushed herself to the brink of breakdown.
"Why did he run?" Jin Luoyin questioned loudly once more.
"Why not stay and explain clearly?"
