Su Yunjin stepped down from the carriage alongside Gu Yan, glancing at the surroundings. She was unexpectedly surprised to discover that the house Gu Yan had purchased seemed to be quite close to where Madam Qin and her family lived.
Just ahead, not far away, was the Qin Residence.
Su Yunjin had been to the Qin Residence a few times before, so she still had an impression of where Madam Qin and her family lived. Gu Yan unlocked the main gate with a key, saying, "Yunjin, let's go; let's take a look inside."
Su Yunjin snapped out of her thoughts and nodded at Gu Yan.
Following Gu Yan into the house, Su Yunjin immediately caught a waft of floral fragrance upon entering. It seemed to be the scent of peach blossoms, mingled with other flowers. The aroma was gentle, pleasant, and not overwhelming. Su Yunjin sniffed again, finding the scent delightful even though she couldn't quite name the flowers.
