Although Gu Ya offered an explanation, Su Yunjin was still somewhat perplexed. Many questions remained unanswered. Gu Ya walked over to the table, sat down, and poured himself a cup of tea. "Yunjin, I've been selecting these people since last year," he said. The individuals Gu Ya recruited underwent layers of scrutiny, with each round only leaving behind ten or so. Collecting the current group of around fifty to sixty people had taken approximately three months, between last year and this year.
"Last year?" Su Yunjin's eyes flickered with a trace of surprise. She walked over to the table and casually seated herself across from Gu Ya.
