Xu Xia threw off the covers and in a fit of rage, looked at the clothes scattered messily on the floor. She grabbed them and tossed them aside, yanking open the wardrobe and pulling out a shirt to wrap herself in before storming out of the bedroom.
"Leng Zirui, come out here!"
No answer.
She went into the study; it was empty.
She rushed into the kitchen, also empty.
She turned towards the bathroom, took a few steps, then went back to grab a kitchen knife from the knife rack. Only then did she stride to the bathroom door and slam on it heavily, shouting again.
"Leng Zirui, come out!"
Inside the bathroom, Leng Zirui was showering, and hearing Xu Xia's fiery voice, he thought something major had happened. He didn't even dry himself completely before wrapping a towel around his waist and opening the door.
As soon as the door opened, a kitchen knife came chopping fiercely at him.
