Those brilliantly colored butterflies swarmed toward him. Long Yinxiao had no time to dodge—the corridor was narrow to begin with, and the distance between him and that woman was only seven or eight meters.
One look and you knew the butterflies were poisonous. Long Yinxiao wanted to yank off his shirt and use it to fling them away, but then remembered his shirt was already soaked with his own blood.
In that split second, Long Yinxiao caught a faint, gentle fragrance. The scent washed away the reek of blood around him as it entered his nose, bringing with it a sudden, airy calm.
The wave of butterflies flying at Long Yinxiao all dropped to the floor at the very instant they were about to touch him.
Before Long Yinxiao could figure out what had happened, he heard the hiss of a high-pressure spray coming from the bend in the corridor.
"Someone's there!"
The group that had attacked Long Xiliang reacted first. Several of them charged toward that direction.
