"Is this what you flew five hours to New York specifically to tell me?"
Yan Yinuo was rendered speechless by this question. Her actual intention was just to visit Xu Zijin, but she had imagined that Xu Zijin wouldn't be pleased to see her.
However, the reality seemed to contradict her expectations.
"If that's how you want to see it, then let it be," Yan Yinuo reluctantly admitted.
Xu Zijin was extremely stubborn; if he wanted to argue, she had nothing to say.
"Alright." He nodded.
After that, he said nothing else.
Yan Yinuo looked at him somewhat bewilderedly, unable to understand whether this "alright" was said out of anger or was an agreement to her request.
After an hour and a half drive, they finally returned to the hospital.
Yan Yinuo followed them, watching Xu Zijin go from being spirited to now needing a wheelchair, feeling a slight pang of annoyance inside.
They reached the ward, and she watched them go in, feeling a bit at a loss.
