"The Millennium Stakes keep being driven, yet history continues to change. Moreover, without the stakes, we can't travel back in time; with them, they instead create a Space-Time Rift for us to travel back, isn't this like lifting a rock only to drop it on one's own foot?"

"There are two possibilities."
