"This is why I said we shouldn't ask that senior to train us," Oliv grumbled, his face full of regret.
"But now he's here, and we can't back out," William replied, even though Oliv's voice sounded tired.
Oliv sighed deeply, looking at Haruto with a half-desperate gaze. "At this rate, we might die before we even advance to the next grade."
Even though they knew training with Haruto would be tough, no one expected it to be this hard. Even William, who ranked first in the Academy Entrance Exam, with a well-trained body and better stamina than his peers, looked out of breath.
Haruto, without giving them time to relax, clapped his hands loudly, making all the students look up quickly. "Stop slacking off! Get up immediately! Are you leeches that only know how to hang around? Hurry up, stand up!" Haruto shouted firmly.
The seven students, although wanting to protest, had no choice but to comply. They stood up trembling, their bodies feeling like they could collapse at any moment.
"We're going to start the next exercise: push-up commands! Start from a standing position. When I say 'fall,' you must drop into a push-up position immediately! When I say 'down,' you must lower your body to the ground. And when I say 'up,' you must push your body back up. Clear?" Haruto scanned them all with a sharp gaze.
"Y-yes!" they answered in unison, though some voices sounded shaky.
"Good, FALL!" Haruto shouted.
Without thinking twice, they all dropped their bodies into a push-up position.
"DOWN!"
They lowered their bodies to the ground, their muscles protesting with every movement.
"UP!"
With great effort, they pushed their bodies back up.
The training continued with increasing intensity. Every time someone looked like they were about to give up, Haruto would just give them a cold stare and an additional, heavier command.
Yuna and Oliv looked like they were about to faint. Their breaths were short, and their hands trembled violently as they tried to hold their bodies in the push-up position. Annie and Cynthia were not much better, though they still managed to hang on with difficulty.
Meanwhile, William, Jae Hyun, and Harl, who had stronger physiques, managed to last longer, though sweat poured down their faces.
"This training will make you stronger, faster, and tougher! If you can't get through this, you're nothing!" Haruto shouted, giving no room for mercy.
Every time someone fell, Haruto would just add more time to their training session. The torture—or rather, the hard training—continued until the sun began to set.
Time passed quickly, and the seven students being trained by Haruto began to feel sharp pain piercing their arms. Their muscles felt stiff, as if every movement required all the remaining strength they had. Their breaths were ragged, and drops of sweat continued to flow, soaking the ground beneath them.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the academy, Lilyana, Natsuki, Patrick, and Bellina were still trying to find Haruto. They started their search in his dorm room, but found the place empty and dark.
"Haruto isn't here," Lilyana muttered in frustration.
"There's no way Haruto is already asleep, right?" Patrick raised an eyebrow, trying to guess.
"Impossible. That guy is too weird to go to bed early," Natsuki added, though her voice sounded a bit annoyed.
They then headed to the cafeteria, hoping Haruto might be eating or relaxing there. However, when they arrived, the cafeteria was also empty of the figure they were looking for.
"So... where is Haruto, actually?" Bellina asked, folding her arms as she looked around.
They began asking people around the academy. However, every time Haruto's name was mentioned, the faces of those being asked immediately changed.
