Weeks after that day was finally the graduation ceremony of the third years. The students were really busy helping their 'Senpais' while some took pictures and some others cried.
I had nothing important to do then so I decided that it won't hurt to ditch the ceremony earlier than I wanted to.
Yusuke had ditched me to go speak to one of his third year friends so I was all alone.
"Gotcha." I heard someone say as I turned around to meet the person.
As I turned around, my smile faded. I looked at the person from the corner of my eyes as my heart skipped a beat.
*H-how did she know where I was.* I thought looking down.
"Hey... Izumi-San." She called smiling.
"H-h-hey, can I help you with something?" I asked not looking at her.
"You don't look happy to see me once again, I thought you'd be happy to see me since you were always happy to back in middle school." She said, her lips curling into a smile.
"A-am just n-not in the mood to speak with anyone." I said rubbing the back of my neck and looking down.
My hands were shaking and I felt like puking.
"Why don't you show me around the school." She said.
"Am sorry, I can't. Someone's waiting for me." I said.
"Really? Did you make friends in highschool?"
"Yeah, well, gotta go." I said forcing a smile before walking out.
As I walked out, I heard her giggle.
*She's unto me again, what the hell's she doing here?* I thought running up.
I rested my back on the wall in the restroom with my hands clasped over my mouth to avoid puking. I washed my face before looking at the mirror.
"I look like a sore loser right now." I said still splashing more water on my face.
*Ichikawa Akane, I really tried my best to avoid her during my remaining days months in middle school, but it seems like she's unto me once again.* I thought drying my face.
I was already tired by the time I walked out of the restroom and decided to rest up a bit in one of the classes.
As I walked in I almost curse myself for coming in. It was the same girl, Sugawara Misaki, and a different person this time around, one of the upperclassmen(Particularly, the former student Council president). Of course I'd know him, he gave a freaking speech.
"You know I'd really miss you, why don't we do it." He said drawing out of the kiss and holding her thigh which was covered in long and black socks.
"W-well...." She started before looking away. It looked like she was seriously embarrassed.
*Why would she do stuff like this and still feel embarrassed? And can't they find a better place to do stuff like this, what if someone else were to see them?* I thought about to walk out.
"Oh hey, Izumi!!!!!" Yusuke shouted running towards me as the both of them turned to me immediately.
"Heh heh.." I laughed while scratching my head before shutting the door and running away. I grabbed Yusukes' hand and took him away with me.
"H-H-h-hey, the hell?!"
*You bastard! You just got me in trouble.* I thought resting on a wall.
"Am really sorry for grabbing you that way, I just thought, well, why not."
"Heh? Why not what?" He asked as I smiled.
"Tee-hee."
"Well, that's not cute." He said as I laughed. "Where have you been? I've been looking for you." He said.
"Am sorry, I went to get something from class." I lied while smiling.
"We'll be changing classes Huh?" He asked as we walked down the stairs.
"Seems like it." I said smiling.
"I just hope we'd be in the same class again." He said as I nodded.
"Same here." I said. "So, why were you looking for me?" I asked as Kaede walked towards me.
"Hey, big bro." She called as I turned to her direction.
"Huh? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked.
"Huh? You sound like you don't want to see me." She said.
"Oh, um.... sorry." I said.
"Hmph." She said as she pouted.
"But really, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Came to check the school out, since I'll be joining you guys." She said.
"O...oh."
"Hmm?" She asked looking behind me.
"Oh, this is Yusuke, he's a friend of ...." I wasn't able to finish cause Kaede distracted me. "Huh? What's with the stiffled laughters?" I asked looking serious.
"Am, am sorry." She started before looking at Yusuke. "Wait, be serious?" She asked looking at us.
"Hey, am Yusuke Tanaka, your elder brother has been nice enough to make me a friend." He said smiling.
"Oh, wait, he was really serious. Am Kaede Kaneko, thank you for taking care of my brother." She said looking at me.
*That look certainly means 'wait, be serious'* I thought looking away.
"Do you still want to check the school out?" I asked as she nodded disapprovingly.
"Let's go home." She said as I nodded.
"W-w-well, why don't we go somewhere first, maybe to grab a bite or something." Yusuke said.
*He looks weird, he's acting all shy.* I thought looking at Kaede. *Oh, now I get it.*
I won't really say I don't get other people. I've seen people fall for Kaede, ofcourse they will, she's really pretty.
"I don't mind, what about you...Kaede?" I asked.
"Well, if you want to go, I think I'll tag along."
Many people have confessed to her and some used me to get to her but, she doesn't even give them the slightest hope.
*Yusuke-san, you can do it.*
Atleast he was a friend, and he didn't look like he had the guts to confess to her.
