(Genryujin's POV)
"Well...." I said, "That was something..."
I stood in front of a few shinigami that accompanied me, we had come to the Human World to investigate some strange occurrences that Gramps told me about.
There was only a horde of Hollows that were rampaging about, killing the locals. I was in the middle of a forest on an island.
I had killed them all with ease, expecting something more.
I looked at one of the shinigami, "Is that it?" I asked
He nodded, "I don't sense any other Hollows..." He said, "Which is strange, I sensed another group but their reiatsu completely disappeared."
I raised an eyebrow, "That is weird...." I said, "Be on guard, though."
I looked up a the sky, the clouds covering the sun. I had to think of a way to handle both Sis and Gramps; I didn't want them on my ass when I spend more time with Yachiru. She and I....we have something special, as messed up as it looks. To me, she's the most beautiful woman in the world and I just want to feel the rush of fighting her and....fucking her.
I felt the ground shake slightly as I heard a loud explosion.
"What the...." I said, "What was that?"
I looked to my right to see a pillar of smoke over the tree-line.
"I don't know." One of the shinigami said, "I doubt any of the Humans can cause something like that. It must be a Hollow!"
I nodded, "Let's go!" I said as I took off in a sprint,
"This must be a special one since it has no Reiatsu!"

As we got to a clearing, I saw the source of the explosion; a massive crater that was burning in the middle.
I frowned, "The hell?" I said as I placed my hand on the handle of my zanpakuto, "Be on guard, we don't know what to expect."
"Yes sir." They said in unison
I slowly walked towards the crater and sensed an unusual reiatsu coming from it. I squinted to see an odd blue flame burning in the middle of it. It was strange, it wasn't like Sis's flames....it was...or at least it felt colder.
"Hm...." I said as I crouched down, "What caused this?"
Suddenly, I felt a disturbance in the air and straightened up. Drawing my blade, I swung it to parry an incoming projectile out of pure instinct.
"Genryujin-san!" I heard one of my companions yell
"Contact!" One of the others shouted
I looked at the location where the projectile came from and saw several shadows emerge from it, and more blue projectiles fired straight at me.
"Shit!" I said as I parried them repeatedly, "What the fuck?"
As they came in contact with my blade, massive blue sparks emitted, buckling my entire body. There was an odd weight coming from the projectiles, it was strange. I never felt anything like it, it was as if they were potent with energy.
I saw that the figures were in full view; they were humans holding strange bows made out of blue energy. Was it Reiatsu? I didn't feel much coming from them. There were at least six of them, looking at us with serious faces. They wore strange white clothing; I didn't recognize their style.
One thing was for sure, they weren't locals. They were something else.
"Genryujin-san!" I heard as the others drew their zanpakutos, "What are your orders?"
"Prepare for battle." I said readying a stance, "These guys are weird."
One of them stepped forth, "Hm." He said, "Shinigami, huh?"
He had long black hair and piercing blue eyes, it was weird. I got an odd sense of audacity coming from this man; it just oozed out of him.
I raised an eyebrow, "You know about us?" I asked, "You must know if you can see us...what are you? You're not Human, at least I don't think so."
"You'd certainly like to know." He said as he raised his weapon, "Shinigami scum."
He then opened fire, shooting a barrage of more projectiles at me.
"Oh fuck off." I said as I parried them as I launched myself forward
I then reached him and swung my blade at his arm, aiming to cut it off.
He jumped back to avoid the attack and snapped his fingers.
Suddenly, the others aimed their spectral bows at me, opening fire.
"Fuck!!" I said as I jumped up in an attempt to avoid them
Some of the projectiles grazed my leg but I managed to avoid the full-brunt of the attack. I saw that as I was in the air, the projectiles hit where I was, causing a massive shockwave and a dust cloud.
I landed a few feet away from them, readying my blade. I felt a bit of blood running down my leg but it wasn't that bad. I do admit that their attacks do pack a bit of power and I would've been hurt if they had managed to hit me directly.
I then saw as my companions rushed forth, their blades drawn, and lunged at them.
The enemies then aimed their bows at them which suddenly got bigger, emitting a faint wave of light.
I widened my eyes, "Guys, no!!" I shouted
The attackers then opened fire, releasing a wave of blue projectiles at my fellow shinigami. I saw that their bodies were ripped apart from the power.
In almost an instant, the five shinigami that had accompanied me were easily killed by the this newfound enemy.
I had my eyes widened, completely shocked by this
"N-No way...." I said, "No amount of hollows were able to cause them any trouble...How....."
The long-haired one stepped forward, "Hmph." He said, "Stupid Shinigami. Do you not know the power we wield????"
"We are Quincy!"
