Serena stood at an altar circling her hands above 3 candles suddenly the fire lifted from each candle and began to follow just under her hands.
Suddenly her hands stopped circling and she used two of her fingers to create a square of fire in front of her. "fenestra quod vis videre" said Serena as the middle of the fire separated creating what almost looked like a frame with blackness in the center.
"How dare you contact me" a female voice echoed out of the blackness. "Come now, my goddess you and I both know my news is the only thing that excites you," Serena said. "What is it you want to tell me?" The goddess asked.
"Seraiya survived Alvera's attempt to take her power as well as her life," Serena told her. "It seems she may be even more powerful than before" she added. "We were so close," the goddess said through gritted teeth. "It seems Selene was right about the future she spoke of," said serena. "If that girl becomes A Tribrid her power will rival the gods," said the goddess. "Wouldn't the same be said for Damien?" Serena asked. "Or is Seraiya different since you and the other gods are not able to directly interfere with her fate?" She questioned.
"That's none of your concern," said the goddess. "Deal with her" she demanded. "You and I both know I'm unable to do that," Serena told her. "You may be my goddess, but fate keeps me from obeying that command" she added.
"How dare you disobey a god," said the goddess. "Come now I'm no worse than the Defier of gods herself," said Serena "After all her very existence scares you" she added. "That girl has the powers of a god within her as well as her own power that she was born with," said the goddess "She only has a sliver of Selene's soul I doubt that makes much of a difference" Serena replied. "Selene may be one of the youngest among us but her power is ranked as high as Zeus himself," said the goddess. "Seraiya Mason may as well have been born from the Womb of the moon goddess, for that sliver of her soul connects the two of them more than you think," the goddess told Serena "What are you Saying" Serena asked. "You almost make it sound like Seraiya has the power to destroy you" she added. "The goddess was silent. "Enough of this trivial talk, continue to keep Alvera in her place and make sure she collects the tribrid's power," she told Serena as the frame of fire and the blackness within it disappeared.
"How interesting," Serena said to herself with a sly smile.
Alvera stood on a balcony as Serena appeared behind her. "What did she say?" Alvera asked. "Same as always," Serena told her. "Though it does appear she's more afraid of the tribrid Created by Selene than we originally thought" she added.
Alvera turned to Serena. "As always she demanded you quickly take Seraiyas power and kill her," Serena told her.
"I was so close last time," Alvera said clearly still annoyed. "Next time take her power before you try to kill her" Serena advised. "And maybe don't throw her off a cliff where she could potentially teleport away" she added sarcastically
Alvera shot her a glare. "I presume you have a plan?" asked Alvera. "Of course" Serena replied approaching Alvera's side. "I always have a plan," she told her. "All you need to do is follow it," Serena told her.
Seraiya stood at the bathroom sink just staring at herself in the mirror. Her hair looked so strange to her. She never thought she'd see herself as a blonde there it was. The roots of her hair had already begun to grow back with her natural black hair color so it had just looked like her hair needed a touch-up dye job.
Suddenly there was a knock on the bathroom door. "Are you ready?" Anya's voice came from the other side of the door. Seraiya walked to the door and opened it and was surprised to see a familiar face next to Anya. "Aaron!" Seraiya said immediately hugging him. "Hey kid" he replied with a chuckle. "What in the world are you doing here?" Seraiya asked as she released him from the hug and took a step back.
"I came here to see you obviously," he told her. "I would have come sooner but let's just say I had a lot to deal with," he said scratching the back of his head as Anya looked up at him with a smile. "So when's the wedding?" Seraiya asked causing Anya and Aaron to blush and turn away from each other.
"I don't know what you talking about," Anya said acting oblivious. "Oh come on," Seraiya said crossing her arms. "Everyone saw the chemistry between you two and it's not like you haven't had…" "That's none of your business," Aaron said clearing his throat.
"Sure it's not," Seraiya said pushing in between the two and grabbing her bag. "So where are you taking me?" she asked. "I'm assuming not home considering my family isn't here and England seems too far?" Seraiya questioned
Aaron and Anya looked at each other before turning to Seraiya. "It's been decided to keep you under observation at the only place that can possibly…. Control you" Aaron told her. "And I ask again where exactly is that?" Seraiya asked as if she had already expected one of them to tell her that. "It's not too far just a few hour's drive," Anya told her. "Are you taking me to kyras pack?" Seraiya questioned.
"Not exactly," Anya told her.
"Ok that's it will you just tell me where the hell I'm going!" Seraiya snapped. "You're going to kyras former coven the one Sasha became the matriarch of," Anya told her. "Ok I get Kyra's pack but why there?" Seraiya asks "I don't even know anyone there" she added.
"Because they intend to keep you supervised with magic at all times," Aaron told her. "In case you decide to try to get yourself killed again" he added.
