Spend enough time alone in a dark place and the most sane people could lose their minds.
Seraiya didn't know how long it had been since Selene left her alone. In her mind, there was no way to tell time. Hours, days, or even months could have passed.
"I need to get out of here," Seraiya said to herself. "Let me out," she said as she held the sides of her head "Let me out, let me out, let me out, let me out, let me out," she said fast. "LET ME OUT" Seraiya yelled as she suddenly let out a burst of golden energy and fell to her knees.
"AH" she screamed punching what was seemingly the ground. This was torture, literal torture and she couldn't do a thing about it.
"Where are you going, Damien?" Piper asked as Damien approached the front door. "Where do you think" Damien answered refusing to turn to her. Piper was silent for a moment. "Be careful" was all Piper said before going back into the kitchen.
Damien opened the door and closed Ig behind him as he left. It had been 2 months since Seraiya was put into a coma. 2 months since she almost died. Even after that day, there were a few more occasions when she had to be taken back into surgery. But other than that this had become the new normal.
When Damien arrived at the hospital and outside Seraiyas room he couldn't help but notice a familiar scent. One that was always there whenever he came one he wasn't completely sure ever left.
Damien opened the door to see Zack sitting next to her bed. Damien entered the room closing the door behind him. He was silent as he walked over to the other side of her bed and stared down at his unconscious sister. She was pale and looked much slimmer than she did when she was awake. The biggest change of all was probably her hair.
No one knew why or even how but after Seraiya was injured her hair had turned completely blonde. Though now it was to the point where the roots and half the top of her hair were black again and the rest of her hair was blonde.
"How long have you been here?" Damien suddenly asked Zack. "Why do you care?" Zack asked. "You stink I'd rather Seraiya don't wake up in a room that stinks so you should go home and take a shower," Damien told her.
"How long I stay here is none of your business" Zack snapped, standing up. Damiens's eyebrows lowered as he shot Zack a glare. "Go home Zack before I tell the nurse you're not family and they kick you out," Damien said threatening Zack.
Zack was silent as he glared back at Damien, then suddenly turned and walked out of the room leaving the door open as he left. Damien walked around the bed and sat down in the chair.
Damien grabbed Seraiyas hand but quickly dropped it when he felt a sudden spark. He stared at her Hand confused for a moment before taking her hand again and holding it in his own. "Strange," he said to himself.
Suddenly Damien began to feel energy building up in Seraiyas hand, Magical energy.
Suddenly Seraiyas body began to Shake, and the machines went haywire. Doctors and nurses ran into the room pushing Damien out of the way as he stood up. "What's happening?" A nurse asked. "I don't know," said a doctor.
"What are you doing she's choking!" Damien yelled as Seraiyas eyes suddenly shot open. The nurses held down Seraiya who attempted to pull the tube out of her mouth. "Sedate her!" A doctor shouted as Seraiya continued to struggle. Damien looked into her eyes.
It was clear she had no clue what was happening. Her eyes seemed dim almost like she was missing. Was it because she just woke up? Damien thought to himself. A doctor suddenly stuck a needle into Seraiyas IV and after a moment she stopped moving and fell limp on the bed as her eyes closed.
"Let's get that thing out of her," a doctor said seemingly exhausted.
After a while Piper Daemon Zack Kyra as well as everyone else who saw Seraiya as family showed up at the hospital and stood outside of Seraiya's room waiting for the doctor.
"Hello everyone," the doctor said as he left the room closing the door behind her. "Is she really awake?" Piper asked. "It seems that way," said the doctor. "Unfortunately when she woke up she was still out of it which is normal considering what she went through, we did have to sedate her in order to get near her to take her off the life support" the doctor continued.
"Why didn't you notice her doing better and take her off it earlier so she wouldn't freak out like she did" Zack asked. "If I'm being honest she showed no sign of recovering as of yesterday when she was last checked her body was still healing like that of a human but now it appears her Enhanced wolf healing has finally kicked in after all this time which I have no doubt is what caused her to wake up in the first place," the doctor told them.
"So what happens next?" Daemon asked. "Well that all depends on Seraiya" the doctor replied. "She's finally starting to heal physically yes, but mentally is a whole other situation. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised is she has PTSD from the trauma she Endured" the doctor told them. "But as I said it all depends on Seraiya" the doctor added.
"I'm Fine" Seraiya suddenly said from behind the doctor as she leaned in the doorway using it to hold herself up.
"Seraiya you shouldn't be up yet," Zack said running to her. Suddenly Zack picked her up and took her back to the bed laying her down. "How are you?" he asked concerned as he looked down at Seraiya. "In a lot of pain," she told him. Everyone ran into the room and surrounded Seraiya. Everyone began to talk at once.
Seraiya held her head as the loud voices began to give her a headache. "WILL YOU ALL SHUT UP" she yelled letting out a burst of energy that pushed everyone back a step causing them to go silent.
