"Where's Towin is he here yet?" Serena barged into the meteorite cube she calls home.
"Dear what's wrong?" Kori attempted to speak without waking Eron.
"It's Towin he's gonna kill us all if he gets the chance" Serena grasped a hold of her mother's hands.
"Oh don't be silly Towin isn't a fighter and he's our son why would he want to harm us?" Kori rested her body onto the chilling bed of ice.
"You don't understand mum...". "Serena dear go to sleep if it still bothers you in the morning we will talk as a family, now get some rest were going out tomorrow.
And as the people of Iceurn city began to wake Towin returned home.
"Son where have you been?" Kori, Towin's mother brought out some leftover soup.
"Where's Eron he's not usually out this early" Towin ignored his mother's sudden interest.
"Oh well he went to make sure the town is safe after yesterdays attack, as I thought we could all go out to get some nice food for a change" Kori gave a pure smile.
"Hi Serena I thought you would be working today?" Towin's smile became sinister "I thought it would be nice to join you with our parents so I took the day off" Serena struggled to force a smile.
"Oh there you are my love" Kori welcomed Eron into their home.
"Lets just get going before things get worse out there" Eron took a hold of Kori's hand, dragging her out into the open.
Soldiers marched the streets, searching for the murderer of the three soldiers.
"Three? but I only killed two yesterday" Towin thought to himself as he lost all sense of the physical world.
But just as Towin was caught thinking about the soldiers his parents had vanished into the protection of Iceurn's army.
"Hey brother where are you going" Serena shouted as Towin walked straight into a wall.
"Where's Kori and Eron?" Towin quickly jumped onto his feet.
"I don't know they left when you got lost in your own head" Serena was almost sure that her dad lead them to the army on purpose but she had no way of calling for help with Towin so close.
But just as she thought about her parents Towin leapt besides her.
Running into the streets of Iceurn Serena could only imagine what her younger brother was thinking.
The siblings continued to leap through the city, rushing from place to place until it seemed that they were lost...
Smack!
Towin slammed into a wall this time breaking straight through into a dead end.
"So you are lost" Serena began to feel relieved that her brother has no real plan.
"No we are just where I wanted us to be, I knew you wouldn't let me hurt your parents so I thought of a way to deal with you quietly" Towin created eight tentacles but this time they appeared from the walls.
Soon after their appearance the tentacles latched onto Serena's limbs, pulling her up into in the air.
Needles shot out of Serena's body piercing Towin's rock like skin.
Using this chance, Serena forced the tentacles to expand by using her own life energy.
"We both know the same techniques brother so why don't we just stop this and work things out?" the naïve sister dropped her guard for just a moment.
"You know its too late for that Serena" Towin catapulted a spike straight through Serena's lower back.
"You know what will happen if you don't take this seriously...".
"I'll kill your parents and take my rightful place in Nayat's family" Towin summoned multiple spikes out of Iceurn's surface.
And just as Towin summoned these spikes Serena created a wave of rock and ice.
The spikes flew towards the young healer but she crushed them using a wave which then barrelled towards Towin's feet.
Suddenly the terrain beneath Towin began to travel up his legs.
"So you aim to suffocate me" Towin thought to himself as he lifted the ground up beneath his feet causing the pieces of meteorite wrapped around his legs to snap.
And then multiple spikes made of ice rained down upon Serena who defended with a shield of boulders.
But this wasn't the true attack as without warning multiple tentacles punctured her body.
"So sister any last words" Towin questioned as he felt his body resist his own commands.
But before Serena could answer him Towin had vanished in search of his true targets...
His parents.
