"Move aside Penny." Barked Colwyn, failing to keep the urgency out of his voice, "You're doing more harm than good."
Pushing Penny off of the pale and sweaty mage, Colwyn touched the old mans forehead and directed his own mana to flood through Gryphon. The knight hadn't done something like this since one of his first meetings with Azel, and yet he made no mistakes as he perfectly analysed the man's body.
What he found was confusing, Gryphons mana core seemed to be working in overdrive. It was producing and pouring mana through the old mans circuits akin to how dying soldiers would to keep themselves alive despite life-threatening injuries. But Gryphon had no such injuries, nor could he have contracted an illness of any kind during his time in the trial...
"...An attack on the soul?" He muttered to himself before turning his head to the sound of soft steps amid the thin puddle. Speaking louder now, the drake knight growled: "What happened to him?"
