Garcat: It's Shiloh Vs Lost Ren, and they were having their hands full.
Gardog: Lost Ren had a 100 % chance of winning but what happened unexpectedly was that Shiloh evolved halfway.
Garbird: She became the goddess of Unparalleled. Or Unparalleled beauty. Whatever you call it. And frankly, even I don't fall asleep.
Garcat: Lost Ren's instant win was held useless against her. Emma even evolved into GodCape Valiente and scored the win.
Gardog: And at the end, Hou & Shiloh admitted their true feelings toward one another and became a lovely couple again. It's so beautiful.
Garcat: And now, the finals. It's Hou vs Shiloh, guys. Say it with me. Buddy...

Anime Opening: Jo No Ka.
A wonderful sunny day, and Shiloh is lying down on a hill in a park in LA. She is humming and waving herself as she enjoys the view of LA. Her smile is wonderful as she gazes at the view of the sky. Later, Hou arrives with some Ice Cream.
Hou: Want some?
Shiloh: Hou...(Blush and close her eyes) Sure.
Once Hou sat down, they enjoy their ice cream while sitting up. Hou suddenly becomes guilt ridden as he looks a bit down in shame.
Hou: I'm sorry for...What I did.
Shiloh: You mean the breaking up? I'm over it.
Hou: Yeah?
Shiloh: Yeah.
But Shiloh stands up and looks eye to eye to Hou's face. She's incredibly serious, and Hou is feeling stunned.
Shiloh: (points his chest) But don't. Ever. Do. It. Again.
Hou: Okay...
Shiloh returns to her smiling self. Hou thinks to himself, "Not over it, huh?".
Shiloh: It's been a while, huh?
Hou: Yeah...You know...I'm proud of us. We both reached an all-star level. Having evolved our buddies. And even unlocked our God Forms. Though I'm still surprised that you're able to do so.
Shiloh: Honestly...I don't know how that happened. Like all I did was confess what I want to do. And then poof, this happened.
Hou: The same thing that happened to me. I also confessed what I want to do, and...I also evolved.
Shiloh: Guess all we did was confess, huh? Lost Ren's the same; he wants to surpass you.
Hou: (chuckles) Too bad you're gonna beat him to it, am I right?
Shiloh: (chuckles) Yeah...Wait a sec? Are you saying you want to lose?
Hou: Uh, No?
Shiloh: (Chubby) Hmph, I didn't realize the Ace of Games is such a coward. Just because I'm a lady doesn't mean you have to go easy on me, you know?

Hou also blushes. And the two butterflies kiss each other in comfort. Suddenly, a phone just rang. This made the two surprised, and Hou covers his face in embarrassment and Shiloh chuckles.

Hou picks up his phone, and Tasuku is on the line.
Hou: Yes, Commissioner?
Tasuku: Did I call you at a bad time?
Hou: With all due respect. Yes. We're On A Date For Cryin Out Loud, Ya Know?
Tasuku: (Chuckles) My apologies. But can you and Shiloh report to base? It's regarding our next move.
Hou: Ah?
At LA's Buddy Police Branch, everyone is in a meeting room. Tasuku. Lost Ren. Rouga. Cerberus. Emma. Garga. Scott. Light. Agent Ren. Hou & Shiloh. Everyone is paying attention to what the Commissioner has to say.
Tasuku: Our preparations are done. The Buddy Police are prepared to counter Kyoya's invasion. However, it alone cannot stop him. That's why I, the forensics department, Scott, Light & Agent prepared these.
Tasuku carries and opens a suitcase on a table. Inside the suitcase reveals card sleeves ???
Hou: Card Sleeves?
Rouga: Is this a joke?
Agent: Not card sleeves. Anti-energy coatings.
Light: You know. Like the ones they made to protect Geil from being Lostrized?
Hou: Oh.
Shiloh: But how do these coatings...well...
Tasuku: Assuming that Azi Dahaka still absorbs energy, this coating does the same. However, the difference is that it should shield your buddies from being brainwashed.
Garga: Very clever. But may I ask? When is this developed?
Tasuku: The Last two weeks before the Final round began.
Garga: I should have known.
Tasuku: What's wrong, Garga?
Garga: Azi Dahaka already absorbed much even before the tournament started. And this coating was developed recently. Won't this mean we won't have enough energy to shield ourselves?
Tasuku: Which is why I need Hou's Mirage Crystal and his protection powers. You can say it's a booster.
Hou Ren: On it. (Lifts his suitcase)
Garga & Shiloh: Where did that come from?
Hou Ren: Magic. (Opens his suitcase and holds out his Mirage Crystal)
Everyone's astonished to see the Mirage Crystal in Hou's hands.

Tasuku: (Nods) Okay. To the Laboratory.
At the lab, Hou wields the Mirage Crystal in front of Tasuku, who is holding the suitcase of coatings.
Shiloh: Wait.
Hou: What is it?
Shiloh: Can I join too? I want to share my powers too. That way, you don't have to bear the burden alone.
Emma: I'll join as well. I want to support my buddy's wish.
Garga: I concur. I'm Hou's buddy. I'm joining too.
Lost Ren: Don't count me out. I'm his rival after all.
Hou: (surprised) Oh wow...

The four then tap on Hou's shoulders while everyone stands back and watch.
Hou: Mirage Crystal. Heed my cry. Grant Us Power with no limits high.
The Mirage Crystal heard his wish and enhanced their bodies as their auras glowed bright. Power surges through them as they react in shock. Everyone stares in surprise.
Rouga: What power...
Hou hands back the crystal to Agent Ren, and the three transform into their God forms and Hou creates an energy spell and directs it at the coatings. The remaining four sends their powers through the wave, and the Coating glows as it accepts the power. Tasuku was able to brace himself as he holds it up.
Tasuku: Whoa...
They shoot even more as they yell, and eventually their bodies are drained as they collapse on the ground. Everyone's shocked as they run in and check on them.
Agent: Are you guys okay?
Hou responds slightly.
Hou: Ergh...I need a nap. (Faints)
Agent: Of course you do...you use too much of your strength.
Light: Did it work, though?
Tasuku: Yes... (Shows the glowing Coatings)
Rouga: Nice. (sigh) You Draknights are really reckless.
The five remain faint. Meanwhile, at the World Buddy Stadium Hotel, Kyoya & Azi Dahaka discuss something in his hotel room.
Azi Dahaka: Kyoya.
Kyoya: What is it?
Azi Dahaka: Let me fight already. Let me destroy an opponent already.
Kyoya: Patience, Azi Dahaka. You will soon fight soon enough. My, you absorbed a lot of power, haven't you?
Azi Dahaka: Naturally. I can feel myself growing stronger rapidly every day. But I want more, I want to crush an opponent. And I mean NOW.

Meanwhile, the knights also arrive.
Blaze: We're not competing, but we might as well cheer on, am I right?
Magician: True. Although I don't want to pick sides so I'm cheering for both.

Same Reaction. Both Players made it to the stage.
Ion: Believe it or not. Those two are leaders of their team. At the same time, they are (teases) one amazing & ferocious couple. But Only One Will Survive and become the champion of the cup. Who would it be?
Hou: Ion really has to expose us, huh?
Shiloh: Yeah.
Hou: Anyways, have you recovered yet?
Shiloh: Not exactly... (excited) but it's not going to stop me from kicking your butt.
Hou: (Surprised, serious smile) We'll see.

As the match goes live, all of the competitors are spectating from the seats. Prince Alec & Eden Hanazono are observing them from their homes. Hou Ren's parents are observing from home.
Ion: At Last, The Final Match has begun. And the first move.....goes to Hou himself.
Hou: Draw. Charge & Draw. I'll start by equipping AK-47. (Equips)
Blaze: (Impressed) Huh. I'm up first.
Hou: I now buddycall Garga to the right.
Garga: (Appears) All are powerless before my blade.
Hou: Successive cast. Gargantua Linkage. Divine Dragon Creation. I increase my hand to 5.
Shiloh: Someone's cooking some steak.
Hou: Well, this "steak" is about to have some sauce on it. Nincat "Afterimage", to the left.
Nincat: (appears) Dummy Cat, rules.
Sensei: (Impressed) Looks like I'm next.
Ion: Hou then uses Nincat's effect to discard to further increase his resources.
Hou: And since I discarded "Sensei Ren's Silent Strike", I steal 2 gauge, 2 hand cards, and 2 life from you.
Shiloh: Wha?
Shiloh loses her resources, much to her dismay. Hou also gains the same amount.
Daryl: In the blink of an eye, his resources upped big time.
Masato: That's Hou for you. Always a step ahead.
Hou: Garga. Give Shiloh a greeting.
Garga: With pleasure. (Attacks) Here I come, Shiloh!!!
Shiloh's Life: 8 → 6
Ion: And that ends Hou's turn. Talk about double tactics at the start.
Hou: Shiloh. We may be a couple, but I'm also the one who taught you everything you know about Buddyfight. You better not disappoint me.

Shiloh pays 1 gauge & 1 life and equips a new armor. Her bronze chestplate displays a winged logo while she also wears some metal-armed gloves.
Shiloh: Folktale's Armor, Arms Biblio.
Ion: Oh My. A new item. But wait...it has 0 power and 0 critical???
Shiloh: Next, I set spell, Enchanted Wonderland. (Sets)
Garga: I see, a new set spell.
Shiloh: Before I demonstrate its ability, I buddycall Soaring Emma to the right.
Emma: (appears) Greetings, Everyone.
Ion: And there's her buddy Emma folks. And with Emma's ability, Shiloh moves two monsters into her item's soul after discarding her deck.
Shiloh: I cast, Red Riding Blessing. (Ability) And now I cast, Dreamland Enhance. (Pays 2 gauge) I draw 3 cards, a monster from my hand to Biblio's soul. Since Emma's on board, I gain 3 life too.
Trickstar: (ponders) Since Hou deducted most of her resources, it made sense for her to compensate for what she lost.
Poet: (ponders) Still, it's not that simple to take Hou down. She needs to do more than that.
Shiloh: Finally, I call to the center. Through the looking glass, Alice. (Pays 2 gauge)
Alice appears in her new form, with a giant hourglass behind her.
Alice: May time help us all.
Shiloh: As long as an item or SET card has souls, her size is reduced to 0. Here I come, Hou. Because I'm about to surpass you.
Hou: (Open arms) I'm waiting, bring it on.
Shiloh: Wonderland's effect. I return up to 5 cards from my drop zone to my deck. Since I returned at least 3, I get to draw a card and gain 1 life.
Elijah: Whoa, she's back to full life.
Emma attacks.
Shiloh: Emma, attack Hou. Thanks to Arms Biblio, she gains 1 critical.
Emma: Here I come.
Emma swirls up and creates a loop-de-loop while creating a stream of pink sparkles. She zooms in and...
Hou's Life: 15 → 12
Shiloh: Double attack.
Hou's Life: 12 → 9
Shilo: Alice. Attack Hou too.
Alice attacks.
Shiloh: With her effect, I move Emma into Biblio's soul. And I get to call the same monster from my deck without paying cost.
Emma vanishes, and suddenly, the hourglass behind Alice spins; thus, Emma is revived. The attack still hits as Alice fires a blast at him, causing another 3 damage, much to Hou's grunt.
Ion: Despite the damage dealt, Shiloh increased her forces and soul.
Hou: (stern) Ergh...With Emma revived means you can use her skill again. Not to mention, increasing your number of attacks.
Shiloh: You guessed it. That being said. (Ability)
Tako: Once again, Shiloh discards cards and increases her soul and hand.
Hou: Hold Up. I cast Dragotrap. (Ability) Emma cannot attack.
Emma is suddenly affected as she struggles to move due to an aura surrounding her.
Shiloh: (Frustrated) Aww man. Then I'll send Henry to attack instead.
Henry attacks, and then suddenly, Hou lets out a smirk?
Hou: You fell for it. I cast. Hou & Shiloh, "The Yin and Yang".
All of a sudden, the pink yin & yang symbol appears below, and everyone's surprised as both of their life points are swapped.
Ion: Say What? Their Life Points Got Swapped!!!
Hou: (Smug) Oopsies.
Shiloh: (Childish, Happy) Hey!!!! How dare you?
Ion: Looks like Hou now has 10 life and Shiloh has 4. But despite that, he still took 3 damage, leaving him with 7 life.
Daryl: (surprised) Whoa, Hou really "turned" things around, didn't he?
Masato: (surprised) So that's why he didn't defend much just now. Smart play.
Shiloh: Welp. I can't do anything else. My turn is now over.
Ion: Shiloh dealt some damage, but Hou suddenly pulled the Uno Reverse Card and swapped their life points. Talk about flipping the script, cause I did not see that coming.
Blaze: When you think about it, they aren't a strong couple for nothing. When they first met, they became great friends.
Sensei: Then they became Master & Student. And now, they're Rivals. Who knew this would happen?
Rouga: However, only one of them can reign supreme. They both awakened their God Forms, too.
Lost Ren: It's like two sides of the same coin. They both know each other's moves, so to speak.
Ion: It's a showdown between the two lovebirds. Which side will win? I can't wait.
Shiloh: I will survive, Hou. Even if you use G-EVO Z, I will win.
Hou: This fight isn't over yet. And I'm just getting started.
The story ends with the two staring at each other with smiles of confidence in a crayon-drawn persepctive.
