Ross let out a chuckle, shaking his head in disbelief. "You came all the way here, broke in, and made a mess, just to say that? With a face as serious as that? Now I'm sure of it, you really are a madman."
Asher, still leaning against the wall, pinched the bridge of his nose before sighing. "Did you hit your head somewhere?" His voice was laced with genuine concern. "You want them to withdraw from the event? Just like that?"
Both he and Ross stared at Jett as if he had grown a second head. The silence that followed was thick with doubt, their disbelief so evident it almost felt tangible.
Jett, however, remained unfazed. He exhaled slowly and shook his head. "I assure you, I'm perfectly sane. And yes, I meant what I said." His gaze didn't waver from Ross, unwavering and resolute.
Ross leaned forward slightly, resting his elbows on the desk as he interlocked his fingers to support his chin. His expression darkened. "So you're threatening me?"
