What a sly little kid's mind—he knows his two little demon sisters inside out, let alone his own son. Jun Ye turned his head and scanned the shop, and quickly spotted that the kids' shoe store also sold socks.
Thinking about how Little Baozi's socks get changed at least once every two or three months, that meant Baozi runs and jumps around outside a lot and really wears through his socks. Buying socks is definitely not more wasteful than buying shoes.
To show he wasn't stingy with his son, Jun Ye led him back to the sock counter and, in one go, had the clerk wrap up a stack of white socks. These socks were made of premium fabric, fifteen yuan a pair, one stack cost a hundred and fifty, more expensive than buying his son a discounted pair of shoes.
Little Baozi's round eyes widened in surprise: So Dad can be this generous!
