Lu Huan seems to have gotten a bit tanned. Aside from his darker skin, the young man, always known for his sunny disposition, has slightly deeper eye sockets, perhaps due to the change in skin tone, making his bright eyes appear somewhat more profound.
"Hehehe," Lu Huan laughed, spreading out his hands. "During this period of hard work and diligent study, my palms have ended up like this."
On both palms, a thick layer of calluses had formed.
"To be honest, it's tougher than my brother and his military service," Lu Huan confided in Gao Dashuai.
Gao Dashuai patted his now sturdier shoulder: "Going into the mountains is never easy. Even sightseeing and climbing a mountain can be tiring, let alone the fact that you weren't there for tourism."
"That's right," Lu Huan rolled up his sleeves to reveal solid forearm muscles. "I've grown stronger, even more so than when I practiced taekwondo."
