A sudden teasing laugh from an old man came from behind, and two little devils quickly lifted their heads and turned around.
They saw an open vermilion door, where an old man, at least in his seventies, stood. He wasn't very tall, with a green coat draped over his shoulders, exuding an impressive aura as if ready to fly off and overlook the world. His small eyes were bright and occasionally flashed with sharpness, as he interestingly looked at the two of them and Jiang Da Shao.
"Happy New Year, Leader Ye." Since this was a New Year visit to the family's leader's house, Jiang Da Shao, being a soldier, did not change out of his military uniform when he came to see Elder Ye and saluted him.
"You're here, you're here." Elder Ye smiled and waved at Jiang Da Shao, then his small eyes drifted to the inherited good looks of the two kids from their parents.
