Within the ancient ruins, Blood Tiger, one of the Blood Spirit Gate's three esteemed elders, stood atop his colossal Supreme Avatar. The figure, thousands of meters tall, glared at Xiao Ze with disbelief as dozens of golden flame orbs hovered ominously around the latter.

Blood Tiger had used the destructive blast to obscure Xiao Ze's senses, slipping deeper into the ruins while Xiao Ze finished off the avatar.
Treading Carefully
Xiao Ze didn't immediately give chase. After all, the ancient ruins had witnessed catastrophic battles in the past, so much so that even a high level Heaven Grade array was shattered.
More importantly, the victors of this battle weren't certain. There was a strong possibility that remnants of the extraterritorial demons still lurked within.
Let Blood Tiger scout the dangers first. No need to rush, Xiao Ze thought, spreading his soul perception cautiously.

In a massive underground chasm, Blood Tiger dragged his injured body to his feet, looking battered and desperate.

"Hopefully, these ruins hold something that can deal with that freak…" Blood Tiger muttered, steeling himself as he approached a towering, pitch black palace.
The air around the palace was dense with residual battle intent, a force Blood Tiger recognized despite not being a Battle Array Master himself.
Hesitating for a moment, he glanced over his shoulder. The faint tremors in the distance told him Xiao Ze wasn't far behind. Gritting his teeth, he pushed forward into the palace.
Xiao Ze's Arrival
A few moments later, Xiao Ze reached the same site, his sharp gaze immediately picking up on the remnants of battle intent emanating from the palace.
"Battle intent?" he murmured. "Could there have been a Battle Array Master stationed here?"
His soul perception extended further, detecting faint traces of another force intertwined with the battle intent a lingering energy that sent chills down his spine.
"Extraterritorial demon energy…" Xiao Ze muttered, his eyes narrowing.
The mix of energies suggested that the ruins harbored more than just ancient human defenses. If the demons had left any traps or residual power behind, this palace could be a deadly labyrinth.
Steeling himself, Xiao Ze strode forward.
