He looked down at iris. Auburn hair , freckle stained rosy cheeks and bright brown eyes. Her clothes looked a bit old but compared to the general state of people in this area,it was fine. She didn't seem to be suffering exactly. Orphaned children weren't a strange sight in this world. Whether they were abandoned like him and iris apparently,or their parents died. He could confidently say she was doing well for herself, and she hadn't lost her soul yet. That glint in her eyes that said she was still a kid inside. Innocent yet ingenious.
