Linda was in utter despair. Leng Youchen's voice was nothing short of heavenly music to her ears. She lifted the blanket and saw the man standing a few steps away from the bedside, staring at her with a cold and distant gaze.
Her immense joy seemed to be frozen by the Siberian chill, instantly turning icy. She stared at him in a daze, her gaze almost worshiping her male god. "Ah Chen, you've come to see me."
Leng Youchen's gaze did not fall on her, "I didn't come to see you. I came to repay the debt I owe to the Zheng Family."
Linda struggled to sit up, her leg ached with every move. Her expression was pained, fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead, yet her sharp eyes fixed on him, "What do you mean?"
"Five years ago you saved me. Five days ago, you almost killed me. The scores between us are settled." Leng Youchen's cold gaze finally fell on her, but it held no warmth.
