Daisy had been waiting in the car for nearly an hour, almost swearing in frustration, when she finally saw Wei Anning arriving late. She immediately put on a smile, "Anning, get in the car."
Wei Anning glanced at her two-seater Porsche, sneering inwardly. What a well-calculated plan.
She opened the passenger door and got in, telling Night Shadow, who was following behind, "The car can't fit you, so you don't have to follow me."
Night Shadow glared at Daisy, warning in his tone, "Miss Daisy, if a single hair on my lady's head is harmed, I won't let you off."
Daisy, feeling guilty, said awkwardly, "We're just going shopping, you're making a big deal out of nothing."
"Let's go." Wei Anning urged, not wanting to engage in pleasantries with Daisy. Since Daisy was courting danger herself, she couldn't be blamed for being ruthless.
Daisy started the car, leaving Night Shadow far behind, with a slight curl at the corners of her mouth, as if she already had victory in hand.
