As soon as the Duke left, Wei Anning whispered, "You're here, where's Chenchen?"
"You miss him, don't you?" Leng Youchen responded with a question, his beautiful phoenix eyes quietly gazing at her. He did nothing, yet it felt like his eyes were teasing her, making her heartbeat quicken.
She propped her chin with her hand and mischievously blinked at him, "Of course I miss him, but I've been video chatting with him, so I know you're taking great care of him."
"Video chatting?" Leng Youchen raised an eyebrow. It seemed that these two had been playing him all along. No wonder the kid would occasionally borrow his phone to play with and then hang up sneakily when he caught sight of him—everything had a mastermind behind it.
Wei Anning realized she had gotten carried away. She quickly suppressed the smile at the corner of her mouth and flattered him, saying, "See, you abandoned me back then, yet I have given you such a great gift. It's not my fault if you didn't recognize it."
