As if sensing his gaze, Wei Anning raised her head and saw Leng Youchen standing outside the door. She immediately put down her phone, lifted the quilt, got out of bed, and ran towards him.
Leng Youchen felt the last bit of bitterness in his heart vanish. He opened the door and walked in, instantly pulled into her tight embrace.
He smiled, held her in his arms, while casually kicking the door shut with his foot. He teased her, "So passionate?"
Wei Anning buried her head in his chest, breathing in the soft, pleasant fragrance of the man. She remained silent, just holding him; even if he made fun of her, it didn't matter.
With no other choice, Leng Youchen turned around, pressing her against the door, and lowered his head to kiss her.
Wei Anning couldn't help but close her eyes to respond to his kiss. His kiss today was gentle, devoid of any domineering plunder, as if he simply wanted to kiss her.
