On the third day after the Duke Mansion's dinner party ended, the Duke appeared before Wei Anning, the elegant old man dressed in a deep blue suit, sitting upright in a stretched Lincoln limousine.
The Butler opened the car door and invited Wei Anning to get in.
Wei Anning's eyebrows slightly moved as she bent down to sit inside. The car door closed, and the vehicle quickly drove away.
In the carriage, classical music was quietly flowing; Wei Anning listened carefully, realizing it was Romeo and Juliet. She hadn't expected the Duke to have such refined tastes. She thought what he liked should be the clash of swords and the call of battles.
"Duke, did you need to talk to me?"
The Duke frowned slightly, seeming dissatisfied with her addressing him that way, "Ningning, why are you so distant with Daddy?"
"Have we ever been close?" Wei Anning asked faintly in return.
