It was heard that Lian Shouli had jumped into the river, so the whole family didn't even eat. They quickly put on their coats and followed the others outside.
There's only one river in Thirty Mile Camp, and this river isn't big. Except during the summer when water levels rise, it's generally not deep at other times. But, there are a few sections that are deep water pits. The villagers know about these spots and warn the children to stay away.
Because of this, in the history of Thirty Mile Camp, there have been very few drowned by the water, and even fewer who have died by jumping into the river. Overall, this is a village with excellent feng shui, with simple, kind-hearted people and a very peaceful atmosphere.
However, for someone determined to die, a small river like this, and sections like these, are enough. Especially since it's winter now.
