"Jincheng, Jincheng, are you still there?"
In the bathroom, Gu Yi'an turned off the shower and called out softly outside.
"I'm here." Tan Jincheng's voice was like a clear spring, clean and crisp, refreshing to the heart.
Hearing this response, Gu Yi'an immediately smiled again, turned on the shower, and continued bathing.
Earlier, because of a nightmare that left her drenched in sweat, coupled with crying uncontrollably in Tan Jincheng's arms, she definitely needed to take a shower.

At first, she even had to touch him, like holding his hand or hugging him, to feel a bit safe.
Later, when her emotions completely stabilized, she could let go of his hand. She didn't have to touch him anymore, but she had to see him or hear his voice; otherwise, she would start feeling uneasy as if the dream's deepest darkness was invading her again.
