Sheele watched in the back of the performance arts theater as the children of Bulan Elementary practiced for their upcoming Christmas Program today, smiling warmly as she watched Junia dance and perform with Ae-Ri and Minsu. Unable to keep in her excitement, she took out her phone to record the moment.
The teacher smiled and clapped along with the music, watching her students sing and dance with joy and in unison. While the practice performance continued, Do-hari watched from backstage with a smile on her face then began to feel more calm about the upcoming prophecy as I was finally awake and in action.
"You know I still can't just tell everyone I'm awake right?" I asked, watching the practice with Do-hari, my hood still over my head to shade my facial features.
"Yeah, I know...but I don't understand why. Do you know how much you could've fixed between Woo-Chi and Ha-Rin? Do you know what you can stop right now?" Do-hari whispered back, glancing back at me with a risen brow.
I chuckled softly at her as she spoke, turning my gaze back to the children ahead. "I am aware of what I, specifically I, Noxius, can do. But right now, it isn't about what I can do. Yesha has already spoken to Eomma Bong with His words, the fire will happen..."
"However, that doesn't mean we still can't protect those within. One key point of obedience is waiting, not on me, but waiting for God's timing. Nothing is happening right now, so I can't overstep," I explained, crossing my arms with a smile as I continued watching the practice.
"Aiishh...Ugh, I guess... I just want the children to be safe. After all, I am a teacher now so I kinda feel responsible for part of the district now," Do-hari sighed, turning her gaze back to the practice.
As time went on, I remained in proximity of the Bulan Theater Hall, standing on the rooftop of the building like a watchman. Down below, I saw Do-hari walking out with Ae-Ri and Minsu, the three heading home so they could prepare for the play.
While the three walked back, I noticed Ae-Ri glancing up at the rooftop and noticed me standing above. Unable to see my face, she couldn't tell who I was but she noticed the faint butterfly wings fluttering upon my back, a slight recognition sweeping over her.
Do-hari glanced back as well as she noticed Ae-Ri looking up, her gaze shifting up to see me standing on the rooftop, not hiding nor moving anywhere. She smiled at me, a soft chuckle escaping her lips from the irony. 'You won't tell people you're awake again, but you'll show it mysteriously...You are literally something else..'
I smiled back at Do-hari, watching as they continued on their way and finally stepped off the high platform of the rooftop. I entered back into the building, lowering my hood then walked into the storage room. Stepping out, I adjusted my mask as I walked out not as Nox or The Echo, but as Cipher.
"Sephora, where are all the ACU Officers hiding within here? We take out the pawns first which will leave only the back line of the board. We shift those pawns to our side, that way, Manaport has little to no leverage for this plan," I said as I walked down the halls, my trenchcoat flowing behind me with every step.
Sephora's eyes began to glow, her vision allowing her to see through walls and highlight any being like an assassin. "There are currently 8 Officers on the scene, two on upper floors, four on middle floor, and two in basement currently setting up. I'll highlight them for you."
"Thank you, that's all we need for now," I said, adjusting my mask before warping away, leaving behind a light blue silhouette of myself.
Ares stood upon the rooftop of the Theater with his girlfriend, Cassandra, the two of them planting Mana Posts along the corners of the rooftop. While the two prepared their devices, I appeared from the shadows of the rooftop with a light scoff.
"It seems you are more stubborn than I'd care to admit... Didn't I tell you to sit out on this earlier?" I asked, watching both Ares and Cassandra turn around quickly to see me as Cipher.
"Who the hell are you? What are you doing here?" Cassandra asked, unholstered her desert eagle and awakened her Valkyria Form. "You are not authorized to be here!"
I adjusted my mask, letting out a soft scoff then lowered my hand. "I'm not here to fight you, but warn you of what's to come. I will be here from the start to the end of this program and your plan. You will not win this battle like you think you have with Dongchon and Grushia High School..."
"When this Program begins, you will not see The Echo nor The One use by God... you will see the King of Qutsade, Noxius Ascea Exzodia. The eight that are within this building are no Kingslayers, so if you want to live to see the next day...take down your posts and leave," I said, turning away from the two until I heard a gunshot behind me then tilted my head to evade the bullet.
"Yeah, that ain't happening, partner. Once again you're standing in our way, and by orders of Overseer Nam-Sun, we are to eliminate anyone standing in our way," Ares said, putting his battle gloves on his hand.
I glanced behind me, adjusting my mask and hummed softly. "You might want to think that over...you aren't speaking to The Echo right now. You are talking to Cipher, The Executioner, The One Who Doesn't Matter. Within the rules of prophecy, I can eliminate you since you aren't the core of it."
"However, I'm giving you the chance to leave. Fighting me is only futile and you'll only get hurt. Leave now, or face the jurisdiction," I said, white lightning crackling around my body as I prepared myself for conflict.
Ares chuckled and smirked at my warnings, his heart hardening within as he lunged toward me with a spinning kick. Phasing through his attack, I grabbed his leg and palmed his stomach, sending him crashing through his Mana Posts and laying within the rubble.
"And no, I will not be fully pulling my punches. I am serious this evening...you will not hurt these little ones. If you have even half the brain cells he does, you would know you should stand down now. There is a time for everything, and now...is not the time to test my patience," I said, turning around and warping away from the area.
Cassandra lowered her gun in disbelief, glancing back at Ares then heard three more explosions upon the rooftop. She gasped as she looked around, noticing the remaining Mana Posts were completely destroyed. Panicking, she rushed over to Ares, picking him up and hurried to the nearest escape.
"Two down, six more left. There are four backstage tampering with equipment, we have only three hours before Overseer Sun arrives for the program. Let us be swift with these," Sephora said, uncoiling her serpentine body from around my body then shifted into a Bronze Serpent around my right arm to form into a gauntlet.
"Don't worry, I will have this board in checkmate position before the opposing king can even make it to the game," I said, rushing down the theater isle then leaped onto the stage to head backstage.
One armored officer looked back at his partner carrying boxes across the backstage, giving instructions on where to set everything up at then heard a loud crash to his left. "What the?"
"Intruder!" Another officer yelled out, running from the commotion and pointing toward me walking forward calmly.
"Hey! Who the heck are you and what did you do with Ruka?" The armored officer asked, taking out his modified baton and pointed it at me. "Hey you! Stop approaching and state who you are!"
I continued to approach the remaining three, scanning each of them carefully then rushed forward then immediately used a Tempo Break to warp behind the armored officer and touched his back, freezing his movements for a second. The armored officer grunted as he couldn't move for a second then swung his baton backwards to see I had vanished.
"Where did he go?!" The cautious officer asked, glancing around quickly then groaned heavily as I appeared in front of him with a gut blow.
While he staggered back, I struck him with five Fluttering Kicks within a second before pivoting around into a pressure wave against the armored officer. He grunted as he was blown backwards onto the main stage then scrambled onto his feet, swinging his baton wildly to anticipate my next move.
I turned my attention toward the last ACU Officer backstage, noticing her holding a steel chair timidly and rolled my neck. "Boo."
The officer let out a scared scream and ran off dropping the chair, leaving only the armored officer left to deal with. I watched as she threw off her badge and got on the phone to call her mother, letting out a soft exhale before turning my attention back to the armored officer.
I began making my way onto the mainstage then hopped onto it, noticing the armored officer had shifted his armor into magma armor. I looked at his badge then met his eyes. "Flaire, hopefully you don't think you'd stand more of a chance than they did? One of your allies ran off crying to their mother.."
"I'm not a pathetic tweaker like Ban-Ri so I don't have to worry about running!" Flaire said, charging toward me with a headed strike aimed at my face.
Effortlessly dodging his first strike, I shifted stances into a lower Tiger Stance, rushing waters forming around my body to block his low kick. Shifting stances again into Snake Stance, a coat of metal formed around my leg as I landed a heavy sweep kick then rose myself up into a rotating elbow strike to his face.
The armored officer groaned as he rolled backwards onto one knee then watched as I rushed in front of him, catching him slightly off guard. Quickly, he rose to evade my low kick but froze for a second as an invisible force touched his chest. In that second, I struck him with a flurry of strikes while adjusting my mask then a Tempo Break.
"What...is this speed..?" The armored officer asked then froze mid fall due to me touching the top of his head.
"We're not done yet," I said, restoring his energy then began breaking through his armor with a series of Freezes and Fluttering Strikes, his magma armor chipping off piece by piece.
The armored officer groaned as his back hit the wall then froze mid air as I warped in front of him and touched his chest. I continued my onslaught of Fluttering Strikes, each strike cracking the wall behind him and breaking apart his armor.
'He's faster than what our studies show...I can't keep up...nor use my ENA quick enough to shift elements...at this rate... he's gonna break my Battlesuit...' The armored officer thought to himself while groaning in repeated pain, unable to act fast enough to counter.
Two, three, five, ten, 13 silhouettes followed each of my moments simultaneously, each one landing within a second and completely breaking through his battlesuit without destroying the wall behind. I stopped my onslaught and pulled my fist back, watching as the armored officer slid down the wall, still breathing but not without consequences.
"Two more. Let Imogen worry about the mess, let's hurry to the basement," Sephora said.
I nodded, looking down at the defeated officer then picked up his badge to see an address of a Manaport HQ written upon it. With the new information in mind, I warped away to the basement level of the theater.
"How long is this going to take? The Monster Egg should have hatched already," Noire said, crossing her arms and tapping her foot against the ground.
"It's a Lava Golem Egg, it takes time, you'd know this if you had actually just asked...Manaport wants to control Rebirth Energy but doesn't know how to properly care for a Monster," A scientist groaned as she was chained against the wall, leaning her head back and sighing.
The hooded male next to Noire looked over at the scientist, his red eyes glowing faintly in the dimmed light. "We captured you because our data shows you have connections with Noxius and you know how to make Monster Eggs and grow Monsters. Who are you anyway?"
The woman laughed lightly with amusement, opening her eyes and looking at the man and Noire. "You capture me without knowing my name? I pity you fools. My name is Naju Hachiman, a Monster Breeder for Lord Nox, Dark Lord of Redemption."
"D-Dark Lord?" Noire asked with slight intimidation, her gaze quickly shifting over to her partner with confusion. "Neviro, our studies showed he's a Dark Lord?"
"We currently don't know everything about Noxius, but this is news to me as well. Nothing showed about him having Elonun abilities or even Rebirth Energy. I don't even think a man can be a Dark Lord," Neviro said, crossing his arms then heard the basement door opening and looked back to see who it was.
"It's genuinely over for you fools..." Naju said with a light chuckle then laughed, leaning her head against the wall. "I mean the Lord already sees the plan, but when Noxius sees this...he is going to lose his marbles."
Noire grunted softly at the warning and looked at the Lava Golem Egg, thousands of questions running through her mind. "Why? Why would he care about what we do with Monsters? Shouldn't he hate them as a Hero?"
"Do you honestly think Dark Lords and Monsters are God's enemies here? Terminus corrupted the Elonun, why do you think when they give birth they are offered Salvation? You broke into Nox's Dark Lord Zone and kidnapped me...and stole one of Cinder's children," Naju said, raising one knee and shook her head.
"Cinder..? The Dark Lord of the Inferno? Why is Cinder inside his Zone?" Noire asked, her voice becoming more tense as she began to feel an overwhelming pressure of Rebirth Energy filling the room.
"Well, well, well...so Mrs. Bong was not over exaggerating. It seems she literally could not explain the threat... because the threat is beyond her current imagination," I said, walking down the basement stairs and looked at the Lava Golem Egg at the center of a Hatchery Room.
Neviro turned around to look at me, his entire body immediately growing goosebumps as he noticed Rebirth Energy surging around my body. "What the...you...are actually a Dark Lord..? I thought men couldn't be Elonun..."
"You are correct, I am not a traditional Elonun which translates to Daughter of God in Qutsadese, but Elonun also means to be a Judge, which I am. Had you studied me closer...you'd know this," I said, approaching the center room of the basement then looked over to see Naju, my eyes slightly widening in surprise.
"We meet again, Lord Nox. It's been quite some time, and I've found myself in quite a... predicament," Naju said, letting out a soft chuckle and looked up at me.
"Not only do you all break into my Zone which stretches across all of Qutsade and capture Naju, but you also kidnapped one of my own from my home. These Monsters...are also my children," I said, slowly taking off my mask and manifested my Sovereign Butterflies, each of them glowing crimson red.
"What..?" Noire said in fearful marvel, looking back at me and took a staggering step backwards.
Neviro pulled Noire back and stepped forward while lowering his hood. "Stand back, and guard the egg. I'll handle the supposed Judge."
"There's no point in me touching the egg. It is already where it needs to be, the real Queen Piece on the board is here. Once it hatches...only then will the prophecy begin. Until then, I'm making sure my child remains neutral until he chooses," I replied, summoning Madriax in my hand then warped each of us into a Pressure Battle Room.
Neviro and Noire looked around the battle room, noticing it was just an open arena with mountains surrounding the arena. Suddenly, Power Angel Statues descended from beams of light, each one releasing immense Divine Spiritual Energy, the energy overwhelming them and bringing them to a knee.
I stood before the two and looked down at them, my eyes glowing like fire with a tranquil wrath that boiled within me. "You workers of iniquity...you don't know what you're doing or getting yourself into. You broke into my domain...and steal a helpless child to do your bidding."
I summoned Anduril into my hand, keeping the blade wrapped in white cloth while rebirth energy surged around the wrapped blade. "You have committed Sacrilege and Trespassing...you defile what is meant to be holy and good for all creatures big and small. How you found one of the 13 entrances is even beyond my knowledge..."
"We didn't know! We were only following orders given by The Supervisor and Overseer Sun! If anything, you should be directing your anger toward them! Why—" Neviro began, speaking loudly and quickly in defense for himself and Noire.
"Silence," I said, my voice echoing throughout the entire arena, watching as Neviro's mouth closed and wouldn't open until given permission. "You had a choice in the matter and you chose wrong... Excuse breaking into my home for that is a different crime..."
"If you had used your stolen goods from my home against me, you would have leniency just like The Supervisor and Overseer Sun for they know what boundaries not to cross...but they will use their puppets as sacrifice for their wickedness. You followed through... knowing the target was children," I said, holding my blade to Neviro's neck.
"Wait! Wait! What happened to forgiving for we know not what we do?!" Noire cried out, trying to move her body but the spiritual pressure was too intense.
"That only works with Sacrilege and Trespassing into Qutsade. But you fully knew the use for those weapons, you knew the target...and followed through. Using my own unborn child against God's Little Ones. It gets...to a certain point," I said with heavy annoyance, gripping the handle of my sword tighter as veins began growing in my hand.
Don't do it...
You can not overstep...
I know you are angry...
But don't do it...
Judge them...
But their final Judgement is up to the Most High...
I heard Genesis's calm whispers amongst the angry war within me, the grip upon my hand loosening gradually. I lowered my hand and head, a few tears falling down my cheeks as I stuck my blade into the ground and returned us back to the basement.
Neviro and Noire coughed and held their necks, both gasping for air and collapsing on the ground due to their numb bodies. They looked at me, seeing my anger and sorrow and just watched carefully.
"Neviro..." I began, keeping my head down and eyes closed. "You are a Kurenai and I know of your clan since the Days of August and Stella. Return home...or you will not face Mercy next time. And Noire...Claudio will handle you. Both of you escape Judgement because Qutsade's Mother will not allow it..."
"However, your time is running out with The Father, The Son, and Holy Spirit. You've gotten a taste of what my Elonun Judgement looks like... please...do not make me do it again," I said, swiping my arm to use Cut on Naju's chains and set her free before walking away.
--------------------------
Three hours went by and families and friends of the students of Bulan Elementary began entering the Elementary Auditorium for the Christmas Program. Do-hari, Dong-hee, Nam-Suk, and their parents walked in moments after a family did, along with Do-hari's aunt, Ms. Baek, along with her brother.
I stood at the back of the auditorium in kingly raiments, the outfit made of fine linen with a smooth shoulder cape with the Exzodia Emblem upon the back. Turning my head, I noticed John, James, Xavier, and Gloria entering the auditorium, my gaze following John and James as they decided to sit in the back.
"What's the verdict? Will it be mercy or judgement for Manaport?" Naju asked, standing beside me wearing a formal white dress and looked down at her watch to check the stability of the Lava Golem Egg. "We don't have much time before the Lava Golem hatches."
"I don't know. He's silent right now, even as I'm praying for answers...up to this point I've been rearranging their plans, but only the Lord knows how this will turn out. All I can do until he hatches is see if I actually made the right moves," I answered back, turning my attention to the front of the auditorium.
The lights slowly began to dim, the chatter in the room slowly quieting down as the little children of Bulan Elementary from ages 2 to 6 began walking up on the stage, family members within the audience taking out their phones to record the moment. The little ones stood on stage, timidly and shy as they looked at all the smiling faces.
"Away in a manger, no crib for a bed, the little Lord Jesus laid down His sweet head; the stars in the heavens looked down where He lay, the little Lord Jesus asleep on the hay," The nursery teacher directed gently, conducting the rhythm as they sang along.
I listened to the children sing the gentle carol, a warm feeling surrounding my heart while I listened. I placed my hand upon my chest, my Holy Fire gently erupting and my eyes closing, memories of my own mother singing the same songs to me playing in my mind. The children began to reawaken memories I hid away, their shy but innocent voices awakening my spirit stronger than those who followed me.
"The cattle are lowing, the Baby awakes, but little Lord Jesus, no crying He makes. I love Thee, Lord Jesus, look down from the sky and stay by my side until morning is nigh," The nursery teacher and the children continued, their voices filling the auditorium.
"Be near me, Lord Jesus; I ask Thee to stay close by me forever, and love me, I pray. Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care, and fit us for heaven, to live with Thee there," They finished, singing the final verse of the soft carol.
The audience clapped and cheered, the teachers waving toward the audience and began leading the children toward the backstage. Naju smiled at the children as well as she watched, her gaze turning toward me to see my Holy Fire burning from my chest.
"Hey, Lord Nox, are you okay?" Naju asked quietly, placing her hand upon my arm.
I kept my eyes closed, my hand remaining on my chest as it began to gently ache. "Yeah...just I'm thinking about when I was a child myself. These children...they deserve to live their innocence out to the fullest and not get their paths diverted like Terminus did to me."
Naju smiled at me and gently rubbed my arm, her gaze turning back forward as she watched the 8 to 10 year old students walking on the stage with Angel and Shepard costumes. "I know, and they will. Though you don't know how it will turn out right now, you can live in the moment now..."
Minsu, Ae-Ri, and Junia walked forward to the front stage, three microphones standing in front of them. Ae-Ri looked out into the crowd, noticing Do-hari and the Bong and Baek Clans in the audience, her mother waving excitedly to her. Smiling, she looked across the crowd and noticed me standing in the back.
We made eye contact, but she didn't recognize me at first due to the dimmed room and the length of the auditorium, but she noticed faint Sovereign Butterfly wings upon my back. The same peaceful feeling she got earlier had returned to her, her smile widening.
Ae-Ri grabbed her microphone, taking a deep breath then slowly exhaled. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning."
"Through Him, all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made! In Him was life, and that life was the light of mankind!" Minsu said excitedly, his microphone squeaking as he grabbed it, Sa Nu letting out a meow as he gently squeezed her.
Junia giggled softly at Minsu and looked out in the crowd, looking out at all of the people she could now see, Butterfly Essence slowly filling the room with all Believers currently within. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it! There was a man sent from God whose name was John."
Gloria glanced over at John jokingly, giving him a teasing poke. "You..?"
"Not me, of course," John said with a light chuckle, his body jolting as Gloria poked his side.
"He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognise him," Ae-Ri continued, closing her eyes to try to memorize her lines.
"He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God – children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God," Minsu said after his sister, his gaze excitedly glossing over the audience.
"The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth," Junia said, her gaze becoming captured by a strong essence within the room.
"Mr. Nox...?" Junia whispered softly with a soft gasp, her gasp echoing through the speakers.
I looked at Junia with my arms crossed, my heart growing heavy then I glanced down at my hands. Still being the first child I truly healed from blindness through God, I felt specially connected to her just as I did with Ae-Ri and Minsu. "My Father...if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as You will..."
"I don't know how much more my heart can handle such anticipation... He's coming and my child is hatching without his mother. Allow me to bring my endeavors to you for us to matterly settle. I can't watch them...get hurt," I said, leaning my head against the wall, my hand gripping my chest tighter.
Naju heard me praying and looked over at me, watching as I began slowly crumbling under the tense weight. She had never seen me this way, so all she could offer me was compassionate silence, her hand remaining upon my arm.
Meanwhile, Nam-Sun sat in the back of his armored car while watching the broadcast of the program on his phone, his gaze locking onto Ae-Ri and Minsu. "My children...I will have you back from the hands of those pathetic Bongs. And that meddling Echoing Messiah will meet his fate."
"Is this still part of Operation: Samson? We were supposed to use Delilah for the plan, but she ditched on us last second. How will using a Monster Egg make any difference?" The driver asked curiously, glancing back at Nam-Sun through the rearview mirror.
"You fool... Monster Eggs hatch in high frequency areas and this program will certainly meet the requirements to hatch the egg. A room full of fruitful butterflies plus Noxius will be there, the Egg will surely hatch," Nam-Sun said, turning off his phone and looking outside.
"I've learned something from Noxius after my first meeting with him. He doesn't kill, he has a no kill rule or something. It's like he's holding himself to The Laws...so because of that...this plan will make him Samson and his egg is Delilah," Nam-Sun said, adjusting his mask with a dark chuckle.
"How do you know the egg won't also kill your children, Ae-Ri and Minsu, as well?" The Supervisor asked, adjusting his cyber mask and leaned back in his seat. "This plan...is foolish."
"What?" Nam-Sun asked, glancing over at The Supervisor.
"Do you think tempting Noxius like this will work? Even I know my limits and I stole all Six Divine Keys from the Garden of Exzodia. I give you and Cho Jin-Hyan full authority over Manaport, and all you can think of is targeting children? Hmph, you're worse than me and I am bonded to Nigoku," The Supervisor said, looking down at his tablet and began typing on the screen.
"I suppose being Dark Echoes, it checks out... That Gehenna DNA within you makes your more prone to such things not even God would think of," The Supervisor said, looking at Nam-Sun's Gene Loci on his tablet.
Nam-Sun glanced over at the tablet as well, noticing his Loci had numerology upon the top of his information, the numbers above being 7-2-5. He noticed Cho Jin-Hyan's numerology was 3-3-9, a confused expression raising behind his mask. "What are those? Codes?"
The Supervisor chuckled softly and turned off his screen. "Let's just say, if your little stunt does succeed...you'll be in for a huge promotion. However, the only challenge here is being sure to know what you're getting into."
"Ares reported something very interesting to us. Nox will not be appearing as The Echo nor Cipher, so he'll be here as none other than King of Qutsade. This will be our first time seeing who Noxius really is...after all Noxius was born into Exzodia Kingdom," The Supervisor said, exhaling softly as he looked out the window.
"He was born into a Kingdom? You're saying Noxius is not noble blood? He was literally crowned prince at the age of 8, and his brother, Zachary, he was heir of Exzodia until Priest Vinson killed him. You're saying Nox is a common woman's child? Lady Myra of St. Lamia is a Shepard's Wife?" Nam-Sun asked in disbelief, looking down at his phone to go over all the information.
"Now you're starting to understand the flaws of your studies. You have to study Nox's birth to understand who Nox is...He quite literally is the Echo of God. I've been silent for a while, but now with how much danger you've brought, I now have to do my part to be sure Nox does not win," The Supervisor said in an exasperated tone.
The armored car arrived at the auditorium and parked in the parking lot, The Supervisor and Nam-Sun stepping out of the vehicle and making their way into the building. While making their way through the building, The Supervisor felt a presence behind him and stopped walking.
"So...How are you liking things around here? The tension is getting fiery isn't it?" The Supervisor began, turning around to face me with a smirk behind his mask.
I stared at The Supervisor and Overseer Sun, my eyes glowing faintly with quiet, protective fury. "You have gone too far...and I will see to your plan failing. My child may hatch...but it doesn't change the fact that my Lord will come out on top."
"Oh? Just as Terminus came on top during your birth? We know about the Great Lamenting, where your birth caused the fall of every great nation around Exzodia for eight years. Your mother...Lady Myra, she's an Elonun isn't she? That's why Gabriel told her to flee to Exzodia?" The Supervisor asked, his eyes glowing behind his mask as he noticed my surprised expression.
"That right...All of Genesis's Army failed to defeat Lament, except one...Ascea, who fell upon you like a dove that night. To the world it seemed like Ascea fell...but my guess was you were baptized that day, which is why you were protected while Myra fell to Terminus," The Supervisor revealed, a light hum filling his throat as he noticed the lights flickering.
"So...you know about my birth. Part of it...seems like you have Luke's descendant on your side. Yes, my mother was a common woman, pledged to marry a man who's name was also Joseph and my mother was also pregnant through the Holy Spirit, Matthew 1:18," I began, crossing my arms and closing my eyes.
"Matthew 1:20-23, But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, 'Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit,"
"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.' All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel', which means 'God with us'," I continued, opening my eyes to look at the two.
"So what you echo a few moments of ancient times? We still know you follow the Law, you follow a specific code and structure!" Nam-Sun said with a wicked grin, feeling the heat slowly rising inside the halls.
"You still think you understand? I echo more than a few scriptures. I wasn't there during the beginning of time, but I was created for this specific purpose. I wasn't made by my Heavenly Father to bring peace, but to divide. Jesus already brought the message and will come back to finish it, I am just here to make sure you all heard it clearly," I said, adjusting my cape and glanced down at it.
"It seems like Paul, Peter, John, and Luke weren't loud enough for deafened ears like yours, so 2000 years later...you're hearing it against from a louder echo. One who Echoes the Immaculate Conception, you just forget that God doesn't perform the same Miracle twice," I added, my hair becoming white like wool with white lightning crackling around my body.
"What the..? Why is he powering up? Doesn't he know the rules of his own Egg?" Nam-Sun asked, glancing at The Supervisor in confusion.
The Supervisor adjusted his mask, feeling the winds in the hall picking up then grunted softly as he began to realize something. "The High Frequency is slowly vanishing...and I don't think he realizes he's draining away the energy from the building."
"What does that mean?" Nam-Sun asked with light frustration, grunting softly as the pressure in the halls began increasing.
The Supervisor grunted softly as well, his body beginning to feel like it was being weighed down by boulders. "His butterflies is absorbing the frequency, stopping the progress of the Lava Golem Egg. We entered at the wrong time...yet at the right time at the same time. It's a paradox..."
Nam-Sun scoffed at me and looked down at his phone, checking in the condition of the Lava Golem Egg with struggling motion has his body grew heavier. "The percentage is lowering...but I don't feel his frequency raising at all."
The Supervisor grunted softly as he was slowly subdued onto one knee, his cyber mask scanning the area to see two pillars of energy surrounding them. "He's...nngh... transferring the frequency to us as Spiritual Pressure...he's defending..!"
"Defending..?! You're saying he's still on High Alert and not an active combatant..?!" Nam-Sun grunted, hearing the cheers in the next room over and knew the program would end soon. "We have to find a way...to get this energy to the basement..!"
The Supervisor grunted as the pressure only began to intensify, blood slowly leaking from his nose as the pressure suddenly ramped up tenfold. He groaned heavily, both hands now placed on the ground. "This pressure...isn't normal...it only grows more and more..."
Nam-Sun's vision began to grow blurry as the pressure for him intensified into strong winds, the winds filling his lungs and making it harder to catch his breath. 'What...is he doing..?! Is he going to...kill me..?"
Lifting a finger off my crossed arms, I released them both at the inch of their lives, leaving then gasping and panting on their knees. "You don't have the energy to act anymore...the program ends in a few minutes and when it ends, the matter will be settled."
Nam-Sun coughed lightly with low chuckles, rubbing his throat as he looked up at me. 'Since he did all of that unknowingly...the release of all that energy has to be immense...'
The Supervisor also waited for a moment, catching his breath as he looked around. He noticed a rush of high frequency energy bursting across the building. A high wind began to blow as the energy spread across the building like a speeding storm, the high energy winds creating a light shockwave.
Mrs. Bong felt the shockwave and glanced around in a panic, her body suddenly growing hotter in fear. "Did you all feel that..? What was that?"
Do-hari gripped the armrests of her seat, looking around and noticed everyone also felt the shockwave. "What was that..?"
The shockwave continued to rumble the building, everyone becoming alert but not yet panicking as the quake came to pass. For safety, the teachers evacuated everyone out of the auditorium and to the bunkers in the basement, just in case a real quake was there.
The entire room soon fell silent, both The Supervisor and Overseer Sun waiting for nothing as nothing happened after my release. The two began to stand up, the two feeling no frequency in the upper floors of the auditorium.
"It's quiet now...too quiet..." The Supervisor said, his gaze shifting to my regal gaze and grew goosebumps.
"The true game is only starting now...my child will choose between you and the Body of the Church," I began then smirked, my lips curling into a calculate grin. "And evil is not inherited...it is taught and I will make sure the first thing my child sees...is innocence."
"What?!" Nam-Sun asked, grunting softly as he felt a pulse of superheated energy within the area.
The Supervisor adjusted his mask, staring at my calculated grin with hesitation and growled lowly. "This guy...has the definite one up on us. He threw a hail mary play...if you understand chess...He just sent all of his pieces to the end of the board straight to The Queen, The Lava Golem Egg."
"How? There's no way he could've known about our plan unless..." Nam-Sun began then glanced over at me slowly, noticing a Heavenly Host hovering behind me with a body of holy light. "Messengers told him..."
--------------------------
Minsu grunted softly as he was being slightly pushed around by the large crowd in the basement, his body stumbling lightly until bumping into Junia. The two looked at each other for a moment then turned to see Ae-Ri, the three of them outside of the crowd and distant from their worried parents.
As the three went around the crowd to find their loved ones, Sa Nu let out a meow and hopped out of Minsu's arms hearing faint sounds of light crying in the distance. Gasping, the three children scrambled around to chase the bolting cat around the basement, finally the four reaching a large steel door before them.
"Sa Nu, what are you doing?" Minsu asked, crouching down to pick up Sa Nu until a pulse of heated energy hit against him gently. He froze for a moment, goosebumps crawling on his arms as he looked at the door. "Noona...there's something behind this door..."
Ae-Ri looked at Minsu with uncertainty then glanced at the door with caution, hesitant to even touch the door. She looked over at Junia, who stared intently at the door and tilted her head slowly, hearing crying as well.
"There's something actually there..." Junia said softly, curiously opening the heavy door with the help of Minsu and Ae-Ri. She grunted softly as she peered around the door, looking at the stairwell leading deeper in the basement. "What...is this..?"
Sa Nu began creeping down the steps with slow steps, sniffing every step and crevice on the walls while descending. The three children followed behind, each of them sticking closely with each other with fearful and timid steps while Sa Nu guarded them.
Reaching the bottom, the four noticed a hatching Lava Golem Egg ahead and the sight captivated then. The flames shined like rubies, a beautiful red light emerging from the egg like a sunray piercing through a thick cloud. Soon, the egg finally hatched into a small, cute reptilian creature with hard, stone like scales upon its body.
"What is that..?" Ae-Ri asked in a whisper, too scared to speak normally within the monster's radius.
"I-I don't know..." Junia said softly as well, instinctively holding onto Ae-Ri and Minsu's hands.
The Lava Golem rose onto its feet slowly, opening its eyes slowly and meet the innocent gazes of the scared children and Sa Nu standing before them with protection. Instinctively, the Lava Golem let out a loud cry and stomped on the ground, causing multiple pillars of fire to rise from the ground.
The children all began running around to dodge the fire pillars while Sa Nu evaded each pillar with great speeds, each movement leaving behind a white streak. Suddenly, she changed trajectory and charged straight toward the Lava Golem at high speeds.
The Lava Golem watched as Sa Nu charged toward her, the blunt spike upon his head glowing brightly as it charged up an attack as well. Rushing forward headlong, the Lava Golem missed his ramming charge as Sa Nu leaped over him and coated her tail in stone before hardening it into metal and slammed her tail against the back of the golem child's head.
Minsu watched as the Lava Golem fell onto one knee, his pained cries tugging at his heart. "Sa Nu, wait!"
Sa Nu halted as Minsu spoke up, her sharp claws extended to strike down the threat. She looked back at Minsu, watching as he got up and began approaching the golem cautiously. The Lava Golem looked up at Minsu, its eyes cautious and afraid as it was just lost and scared.
Minsu stared at the Monster in the eyes, as if being able to read the rock beast's emotions clearly. He slowly reached out toward it, placing a hand upon the blunt spike. "You're just scared like us... it's okay we are nice."
The Lava Golem began to calm as Minsu spoke, the intense air finally calming down with Ae-Ri and Junia joining him to curiously get a closer look at the newly hatched monster. Unbeknownst to them, the ceiling above them had caught fire from the beast's first attack, the flames seeping onto the floors above.
Above, Mrs. Bong began sniffing as the smell of something burning began floating in the air. Searching around, she gasped and pointed at the small ember on the ground. "There's a fire! Right there!"
Her sudden call out began to cause major panic, everyone squirming around to escape the flame. The flame began growing larger and larger within seconds as more fire spots began showing, the basement beginning to catch fire with everyone hurrying back to the upper floors.
"Where's Ae-Ri and Minsu?! Kids?! Where are you?" Do-hari called out worriedly, frantically looking around with a worried expression.
"Ae-Ri and Minsu are missing?" Dong-hee asked with shock, grabbing onto Do-hari's arm.
Nam-Suk grunted softly as he ran off, searching desperately for his niece and nephew. At the same time, Sheele and Vaughn had noticed Junia was missing as well, the five going into full blown panic to find the three missing children.
Below, Minsu, Ae-Ri, and Junia looked up to see the blazing roof above and pieces of the ceiling crumbling down. They screamed as one neared them, the three of them frozen in fear as they didn't know what to do. Without knowing anything else, they began running for the door but an energy wall formed in front of them.
"How unfortunate...it had to be children to fall in here. You managed to even tame the Lava Golem...this is not going to plan at all," Usama's voice called out from across the room, the three children turning around to see him sitting against the wall. "At least, you'll be with your God soon..."
Junia gasped as she noticed a black lion rising up from the shadows, her heart beginning to race like never before and she quickly covered her eyes. "Someone please help us!!"
"There's no one to help you here. At your age, it's time to learn a valuable life lesson...there will always be causalities in war," Usama said with sick laughter, snapping his fingers to send his Dark Leo to attack.
The Lava Golem rushed forward with defense, holding its short arms out only to he swiped away with a single attack. The Black Lion began approaching the three with predatory steps, his final step causing him to implode into black smoke.
Usama rose an eyebrow and glanced around, noticing a flock of bats swarming into the deep basement, the flock of bats disrupting his spiritual perception. "What is going on..? Where did all these bats come from?"
Suddenly, a golden chain launched through the crowd of bats, wrapping around Usama's neck and pulling him forward toward me, my eyes glowing brightly with pure anger. Letting out a roar, I struck his face with a Lion's Fist, the blow creating a shockwave and launching him into the heavy walls behind him.
The three children looked at me with pure relief and tears filling their eyes. They each noticed my royal attires, each of them seeing the real me for the first time. Before they could ask anything, the blockage behind them broke and a strong wind began to blow, gently carrying them away.
Usama watched as a mysterious force carried the children to safety with a laugh, looking at his hand after touching his nose, seeing blood covering his palm. "So...this is the power of...the King of Qutsade.."
"I warned you..." I began, my tone completely regal as I summoned Anduril in my hands, veins slowly growing on my hand as I gripped the handle. "I told you...to stay home. If you dare even try to hurt them...I held back for so long, and you all keep pushing me..."
Usama looked around and began to notice the room becoming consumed in fire, the entire lower basement becoming the Ignition Trap Facility as more of the room became overwhelming flames. He chuckled lightly, glancing up at me then laughed lightly.
"What is this..? A scare tactic like you have to Noir and Neviro? I know all about your little Zones...your power means nothing when we know how Dark Lords work," Usama said, standing on his feet and grinned.
I stared at Usama and watched as he charged toward me then I immediately Fluttered behind him, standing up straight and slowly wrapped my sword back. I began walking off slowly, leaving the basement to crumble down. "You should've stayed home...now you shall meet the One who can destroy your body...and soul."
Usama watched as I walked off, holding his neck and stomach as he collapsed onto his knees before collapsing onto the ground. His vision began fading slowly, his adrenaline keeping him alive until a falling piece of debris fell onto of him, ending him swiftly.
