/Chapter 29 – Match Prep and Tactical Minds/
The morning of our final training before the match was fresh with a quiet buzz. The sun wasn't too hot, the sky was clear, and there was this strange calm in the air that made me feel both tense and oddly at peace. It felt like the calm before a storm.
We gathered early at the backyard pitch. The same dusty old backyard that now felt like our home ground. Some of the guys were already juggling a ball around. Benji was singing off-key, Giorgio had two energy drinks in hand, and Rosa was cracking his knuckles like he was preparing for war.
Captain clapped his hands together. "Alright boys! This is it — our final session before kickoff. Let's do it right. No need to break our backs today. We're focusing on rhythm, flow, and getting into the game state."
No one complained. We were all dialed in. Well, mostly. Benji still showed up five minutes late.
