The next day, they were ready for a dungeon dive.

In the Holy World, dungeons were seen as peculiar yet vital places. Unlike other worlds, where dungeons might simply be places for adventurers to explore, here they held a far more sinister potential. Each dungeon was like a lair—a stronghold created by powerful monsters that grew in strength and complexity over time. These dungeons even held the dark potential to give rise to beings known as "Demon Kings," malevolent entities born if a dungeon were left to grow unchecked.

Because of this, regular dungeon-clearing expeditions were essential, preventing these monster dens from becoming too powerful and endangering the surrounding regions. People here made a routine of delving into dungeons, purging them to ensure no threat could mature into something catastrophic.

William, Ryan, and Emily stood at the threshold of their assigned dungeon, flanked by Kane and Mira, who had scouted ahead and confirmed the route was secure for them.
