That volume of the Four Books and Five Classics, personally hand-written by a Great Confucian, was actually able to affect Li Zhirui's current state of mind—it was truly extraordinary, and it made him quite pleased.
Because at his present level, very few external objects could influence his mindset at all.
So much so that he wanted to ask the merchant which Great Confucian had written that Four Books and Five Classics, to see if there might be a chance to meet the person and invite him to pen more Confucian classics.
In the end, Li Zhirui really did just that, but unfortunately, the merchant replied regretfully, "That Great Confucian has already passed away—his disappointing heirs brought his writings here to auction."
"Then, could you tell me who he was? I'd like to purchase the remaining works of the Great Confucian's hand from them."
