Everyone fixed their burning gazes on that Eight Diagram Treasure Fruit, but the next moment, it was taken away by the Heavenly Immortal.
"Since you are representing the sect to attend the grand ceremony, then this Treasure Fruit should not belong to you—it ought to be a wealth of the sect." A Heavenly Immortal suddenly said.
"I've never heard of food from a ceremony needing to be handed in."
That Heavenly Immortal replied in a calm tone, "Besides, the Eight Diagram Treasure Fruit has already been consumed and refined by me. Now, if you throw me into the Pill Furnace and refine me, perhaps you could still extract a bit of medicinal effect."
"Heh, Elder Niu, what kind of words are those?"
The Sect Leader hurriedly stepped out to mediate. The conversation had reached this point; whether true or false, any more words would likely lead to an open conflict.
