Akeno
Akeno sat by the window of the Occult Research Club room, gazing at the darkening sky. The absence of voices, the usual lively chatter of her friends, made the room feel emptier than ever. Normally, Rias would be here, offering company, but today, she had matters to attend to, leaving Akeno alone with her thoughts.
She sighed softly, resting her chin on her hand. It had been far too long since she last saw Alex. Ever since he left for another world, everything felt quieter. Even though she and the others had the ability to visit him, they had refrained from doing so. They didn't want to disturb him unnecessarily, knowing he was busy handling Nazarick's affairs and whatever world he was exploring.
But despite that logic, Akeno couldn't deny the ache growing inside her. A longing that settled deep in her chest, spreading lower.
Her face grew warm as she squeezed her thighs together, feeling a familiar heat rising within her. She bit her lip, exhaling slowly. She had always enjoyed teasing Alex, pushing his buttons, making him lose control—but now, she was the one desperate for him.
Serafall had gone to visit him recently, hadn't she? That meant there was no reason for Akeno to hold back.
A mischievous smile crept onto her lips. If Serafall could see him, then she could too. There was nothing wrong with visiting her beloved.
With that decision made, she stood up, smoothing out her skirt. The only way to reach the portal to Nazarick was through Alex's old apartment, which Asia was now using. It had become something of a meeting place for his lovers when they weren't in their own homes.
If she was lucky, she could slip past Asia without her asking too many questions.
With a confident stride, Akeno left the club room, her excitement growing as she headed towards the apartment.
The walk didn't take long. Soon, she stood outside the familiar door, pausing before knocking lightly. A moment later, the door swung open, revealing Asia, dressed in casual clothes.
"Akeno-san?" Asia tilted her head. "What brings you here?"
Akeno put on a sweet smile. "Just dropping by. I needed to check something."
Asia blinked, then stepped aside. "Oh, of course. Come in."
Akeno entered, her eyes briefly scanning the apartment. It was well-kept, just as she expected from Asia. The girl always took her duties seriously.
"I won't take long," Akeno assured her, walking towards the room where the portal was located.
Asia followed her curiously. "Are you… going to see Alex-san?"
Akeno glanced back with a teasing smile. "Maybe."
Asia pouted. "I wish I could go too. But I have homework to do."
Akeno chuckled, reaching out to pat Asia's head. "Next time, I'll take you with me."
With that, she stepped through the portal, feeling the familiar sensation of magic enveloping her.
Akeno emerged in Nazarick's grand halls, the air immediately shifting to something colder, more regal. Every time she came here, she was reminded of the sheer power that radiated from this place. Unlike the human world, Nazarick felt like another realm entirely—one where Alex ruled as an absolute force.
She made her way through the halls, her heels clicking against the polished floors. The servants bowed as she passed, acknowledging her as one of Alex's women, but there was always a certain distance, a silent reminder that she was an outsider compared to those who had served him from the beginning.
As she approached the throne room, she pushed open the massive doors without hesitation.
Inside, the atmosphere was as imposing as ever. The grand throne sat at the far end, but it was empty. Standing beside it, however, was Albedo.
The Overseer of the Guardians turned her sharp golden eyes toward Akeno, her expression unreadable.
"You've come," Albedo said simply, her voice smooth yet carrying a weight of authority.
Akeno smiled playfully. "Did you miss me?"
Albedo didn't react to the teasing. Instead, she took a step forward, folding her hands in front of her. "If you've come to see Alex-sama, you are wasting your time. He is still in the Demon Slayer world."
Akeno tilted her head. "I know that. But does that mean I can't visit?"
Albedo studied her for a moment before letting out a soft sigh. "I suppose it cannot be helped. However, I hope you are not here for trivial reasons."
Akeno walked forward, stopping just a few feet from Albedo. "What if I am?"
Albedo's gaze hardened. "Then you are proving my concerns correct."
Akeno chuckled, placing a hand on her hip. "Oh? And what concerns would those be?"
Albedo's fingers twitched slightly as if resisting the urge to lash out. "You and the others from the outside world do not belong here," she said, her voice firm but not openly hostile. "Alex-sama has taken you in, but that does not mean you hold the same position as us. You have yet to prove yourselves worthy."
Akeno raised an eyebrow. "Worthy? Is that what this is about? You're afraid we'll take him away from you?"
Albedo's wings twitched, a rare sign of irritation. "Alex-sama's love is not something that can be taken. It is earned. And you..." she narrowed her eyes, "...have not earned it yet."
Akeno smiled, unaffected by the hostility. "That's funny. Last time I checked, he seemed to enjoy my company quite a bit."
Albedo's fingers clenched into fists before she exhaled slowly, regaining her composure. "You are a distraction."
Akeno stepped even closer, lowering her voice. "Or maybe you're just scared that he enjoys us just as much as he enjoys you."
For a moment, the tension between them thickened, the air charged with an unspoken challenge.
Then, Albedo smirked. "We shall see," she said simply and pointed to where the portal to Demon Slayer world was.
Akeno matched her smirk. "Yes, we shall."
With that, she turned away, making her way out of the throne room to the portal to the Demon Slayer world.
If not for her being Alex's lover, she would have ended up dead by Albedo's hands.
