Following closely came the crisp sound of glass shattering.
The surge of blood mist halted, but the scene below began to fragment, and when it resumed, a bizarre giant tree appeared not far away.
This giant tree looked like a massive, woody plant, with an incredibly thick trunk draped with countless swaying blood-red vines, resembling tentacles.
On the thorny, cap-like branches at the top grew lush green leaves, which at first glance appeared delightful; a closer look, however, sent chills down one's spine, as these leaves were shaped like twisted human faces contorted in agony, with large, gourd-like purple fruits hanging from the branches.
