"Strange, where is everyone?"
Liang Qu stood in mid-air, gazing down at the mighty river flowing eastward.
Zhang Longxiang himself was not in some grand luxurious palace, but rather in the desolate wilderness outside Heyuan Prefecture City. Several mountain peaks were covered in white snow, a large river meandered and flowed, and yellow-green withered grass submerged his feet.
The surface of the water was calm, occasionally a big fish would flick its tail, creating splashes, and a couple of wild rabbits poked their heads out from the shrubbery on the mountainside, their red eyes cautiously staring at the "little figure" in the sky, perhaps mistaking it for an eagle or falcon circling for prey.
Walking in thin air.
Zhang Longxiang's "River Stone" clearly showed he was nearby, yet he couldn't find anyone, let alone sense any qi.
"Huh?"
Liang Qu looked down.
While the specific qi wasn't found, the water flow clearly outlined a person's silhouette.
"Rumble, rumble."
