Aside from the light bands, the Southern Frontier still had scattered stars, even more than the front lines, but all were stable and unmoving except for two that flickered and bounced, darting everywhere. The leading light point suddenly changed direction, heading straight for the South Sea.
The trailing light seemed to react, flashing ahead as if doing something, directly cutting off and blocking, making both points move in a continuous line instead of "shuttle" movements.
