[3rd POV]
The decision to go to Dragon Ball was not one that Gwen was making lightly. It was the best choice for her at this point in time, and would give her the means to access a huge well of new powers, techniques, and abilities that would stack on top of one another to make a huge boost.
Like combining the super saiyan form with the golden Frieza form, combining the boost of both of them at the same time in tandem, making for an even greater boost. Then once she uses them she can combine it further with the boost that she has from Ddraig, making for an even more incredible effect.
She estimated that she could multiply her power by billions by the time she used the combination at the same time. That could be even greater if she was to access further forms like Ultra Ego, and forms from other universes like the ones that appear in Dragon Ball GT or Xenoverse.
She'd be visiting all of them sooner or later either way, so it made little difference.
And in this case, she decided to forgo doing an otherworldly quest, as none of them gave much of a reward, and would restrict her heavily. So it wasn't worth the time or effort in her eyes. Especially when she could get more power by just making clones and consuming thousands of evil variants with no problem.
Evil variants would be her biggest target.
Which is why she decided that her first universe to hunt would be the one where Goku Black existed. Where Zamasu existed and was attempting to become one with the universe or whatever. She didn't really care much for the details, only the fact that she could absorb everyone in that universe without a problem.
Especially when she found one where all the denizens inside of it were pretty damn evil. With all of the heroes long since dying, giving her the perfect excuse to just consume everything there.
The only downside in her eyes was that Zeno didn't exist there for some reason. Either because he had somehow died long ago, or because if he did exist none of this would have ever spiraled to such a terrible level. As he would have just ended everything before it did, before restarting it all to fix it up as something better than before.
At the moment Gwen was standing in the middle of what can only be described as an infinite expanse of stars, twinkling in the distance, the far distance. There were so many of them that it illuminated the entire area, making it brighter than can be.
So bright that it would likely blind a normal person quite quickly, but Gwen was far from normal, and was not even remotely affected by it. But she could tell that these twinkling things in the distance?
They were not stars.
They were universes. Billions of billions of universes, so many that you could not even properly count how many there were. An infinite amount of them.
And she was currently looking over the ones she could properly gaze at, searching for the dragon ball universes for her to travel to. A cluster of them at that, making up what was basically just a bigger star, a multiverse.
It was all much much stranger looking to a normal person, but Gwen had sights beyond any normal being, and could easily see into the multiverses themselves, hence why it looked like a bunch of universes and not multiverses.
She could feel the darkness of the void on her, but her regenerative capabilities were keeping her safe from the death that would befall her if she even thought of going there.
The void, the true void, was somewhere that not even she could exist. She could sense it. That...thing, it was capable of overcoming and overwhelming any resistance, any immunity, any adaption.
It was all encompassing.
She imagined that the only being that could safely live there was the creator themselves.
Ignoring the void, Gwen soon found the universe she was targeting.
She wanted to start out with a more normal Dragon Ball universe and then go to a villainous one and start to rapidly hunt and consume beings from around the Dragon Ball multiverse.
This way she can properly meet the characters that she has always wanted to meet in the past without them being tainted by the villainous versions of themselves. She wanted to meet their true selves.
Finding the universe in question hadn't taken too long, and after she spread her senses into the universe itself, she raised an eyebrow.
'Hmm, interesting. Looks like its a universe that is currently set during the tournament of power, or at least the recruitment for the tournament itself' Gwen thought with a hum, as she began to drift towards the universe, traveling through space time at speeds trillions of times the speed of light.
Time had no hold on her when she was moving this fast.
It took her less than a second to appear outside of the universe that she wished to travel to. She gazed deeper into it, feeling the power of the entities inside.
'Looks like it's basically just canon, except in this universe the Saiyans also possess Super Saiyan 4 after obtaining it from extensive training' Gwen thought, pleased with this piece of information.
It would have been boring if it was just canon in pretty much every form.
'Hmm, looks like this isn't one of those universes where the Grand Priest is evil. Kind of boring though, I would have loved to have an excuse to kill him so I can absorb his power. Well, that and it'd free them from whatever he was planning. But I guess there is more than enough other universes with a similar situation, so it's not too big of a deal' Gwen thought with a shrug, as she began to enter the universe.
She could feel Zeno attempting to find her, but blocked all attempts with a bored wave of her hand. That entity was far weaker than her, so stopping him from seeing her was easy enough.
Entering into the universe, her power immediately snapped into place, bonding to the universe in an instant. As she became the God of a lot of different concepts of this universe, boosting her power. At the same time she restricted the power leak so that nobody would even feel the change in the universe, not even Zeno himself.
Spreading her gaze, Gwen smiled as she disappeared and reappeared on the Earth of this universe. It was the same Earth that the Goku of this "Multiverse" lived. Although multiverse was a strong word as it was only 12 universes that made up this place, and was pretty small compared to DC or Marvel.
Like, laughably small in comparison.
Landing onto Earth, Gwen appeared on one of the many cities on the planet, a small interested smile forming on her face as she began to walk around, searching for the building that she wished to visit.
The building that housed the character she was very interested in meeting, that would give her the means to meeting the rest of the Saiyans of Earth.
And after several minutes of walking around, taking in the sights of this version of Earth, Gwen finally found the location she was looking for. A place that all Dragon Ball fans knew of, and that place was...
