[3rd POV]
In another world, conflict was arising. Cletus Cassidy, the carnage of that world, had been on the hunt. Finding and killing symbiote hosts and previous hosts, absorbing their "Codices" genetic imprints that was left on them from having a symbiote bonded to them.
All done so that he could bring forth Knull, who could use these codices to further his bond with the symbiote hive mind, a connection that was extremely limited and hard to utilize. But thanks to these codices, it was becoming easier and easier.
This had all been done in order to gain control.
But, it had been blocked by various heroes several times, including the Eddie Brock of that world, aka Venom. Who had been fighting against Cletus due to him kidnapping his son,
Dylan Brock.
Dylan was an interesting kid as he had a rather unique set of powers that effectively gave him a lot of control over other symbiotes, similar to what Knull can do. Albeit not on the same scale, or even all that close really.
And when Eddie was forced into an impossible situation, between killing Carnage and letting Knull out, or letting his son die and imprisoning Knull. He had made the only choice most fathers would make.
He saved his son.
Gwen didn't blame him, as most people would do the same thing. But the fact that Knull was now free, and would likely be coming to her universe was...a problem.
Unlike what Gwen had thought, Knull could go to her universe without problem, and wouldn't get weaker even when traveling there. This was all because of the fact that her universe and the mainline 616 universe are sister universes, bonded in a very special manner that allows for Knull to travel to this universe without difficulty.
Knowing this, Gwen needed to get Knull to leave 616 to her universe. As while that sounded bad, she needed him in her universe in order to properly fight the entity. She had various weapons made specifically to handle him and his symbiote army that he was already amassing.
This army was almost entirely symbiote dragons that held a lot of power, enough power to decimate planets and such. While her weapons were made to slaughter them in the millions, not to enjoin the virus she had made to deal with them.
A virus that would shred them apart, well, most of them at least.
The bond between their universes would allow her to drag him into their universe, where she would then be ready to bombard him and his army with all the weapons she had made specifically for this moment. Weapons that were far superior to what she used to possess.
Not to mention her androids that were specifically made to counter most of the symbiotes, and wouldn't be able to be corrupted by Knull thanks to the way she had created them.
Then there was the forces on Malzif, the countless powerful mutants, Inhumans, Eternals, and humans. As well as the Avengers that were all in the know in regards to a threat that was coming their way.
A threat that was now actively invading another universe's Earth. And unlike what happened in the comics, this was happening earlier, which meant a lot of the heroes in that world were weaker than they were in the comics when it was originally supposed to happen.
This meant that their chances of winning that war was...very slim. So slim that Gwen knew she had to get Knull away from there. As if Knull got his hands on the individuals in that universe and managed to corrupt them...
She'd have a huge problem on her hands. One that she wouldn't be able to overcome nearly as easily. She had of course planned for it just in case, but she'd rather not have to fight a corrupted Franklin Richards or something.
So instead, she had been making a rather complex form of magic that would forcefully drag Knull and his symbiotes under his thrall into her universe, where she would then be able to fight against him without nearly as much worry as otherwise.
At the moment she was looking over the production of a special device that she had thought up. Which didn't really have a name, beyond being a massive cannon that fired pure and absolute sonic power, as well as a natural anti-venom like power to it.
A counter to his stronger symbiotes.
"How is the production going?" Xavier asked as he rolled over in his wheelchair.
"Good. I've completed 5 sonic cannons so far, which should be more than enough to handle his armies. But, I want to be absolutely certain" Gwen responded, as Xavier looked at the woman that had been leading the planet for years now.
"...Gwen, don't you think you are...overdoing it at this point? I can't help but think that perhaps you are far more ready than you think you are. You have been preparing for years for this entity, perhaps it it time you begin to finally put those preparations into action" Xavier said, a little worried for her.
She had been diving into her preparations a lot more as of recent than before, not enough to cause problems in her relationships, but enough that it was making the council worry that she was going to go crazy from all the work.
"...I will rest once Knull is gone, Charles. I can't allow this entity to live, not when he can threaten everyone I care about, which includes this planet and it's people. Once he is gone for good, then I'll relax a bit more. At least until the Incursions come for us" Gwen said, knowing that she had no way of stopping the incursions.
But she had already prepared something that would counter them enough to keep her people alive, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. It was what came after that was going to be an issue, which is why she needs to kill Knull.
As once she killed Knull, she was going to receive something huge.
Afterall, she had gotten a quest for it.

She believed that once she kills Knull, her system would evolve into a higher form, perhaps even Tier 2, which was multiversal.
Afterall, once she completed her project, she would easily be around that level. As she had to be in order to contend against Knull and what comes after. Hell, even now she was pretty confident that she was at that level after a few boosts. But she had found that the boosts no longer doubled her power like they used to, seemingly having hit some sort of limit. Instead it was more of a 50% boost now, which was a huge difference, but not enough to really cause her problems, as she didn't rely on it either way.
And she also knew that divide would not affect Knull due to his nature.
"...As you wish Gwen. But...we just worry for your mental health, that is all" Xavier responded, causing Gwen to chuckle.
"Trust me Charles, my mental health is fine. It takes a lot more than no sleep for a few nights" Gwen responded, not minding his worry. It just showed that he was a good person, at least in this universe he was.
He had improved after years of taking care of the schools, and working closely with her and the rest of the council.
After responding to Xavier, Gwen looked back at the massive cannon, one thought on her mind.
'...Soon...soon it's time to get rid of Knull...for good'
