Chapter 246 - Chapter 246: Transformer ????

Meanwhile in a different universe, in a desert, an F-16 Fighting Falcon flew through the air. It had a sleek, needle-like nose which sliced through the thin air. The single engine at its rear emits a thunderous roar. The sunlight glinted off the polished glass of the cockpit canopy. It flew through the sky and then got closer to the land.

Suddenly, the metallic clatter of shifting plates and grinding gears could be heard. The jet's fuselage fractured and peeled back to reveal a dense skeleton. The wings snapped upward with hydraulic force to form towering shoulder pylons, while the cockpit sank into the torso. A towering titan stood. His face had glowing red optics. "Why did you call me here Barricade?" he shouted. "You knew the plan was to stay hidden until we have located the All-Spark," he added.

Barricade drove forward. He was a mustang police cruiser in high-gloss black and stark white colors. The flashing emergency lights casted a red and blue against the surrounding areas. It had a "To Punish and Enslave" motto on its rear quarter panel. It flashed its head lights. It had a large front bumper. The car's frame shattered inwards. The metal shifted and the hydraulics turned. The doors swung wide. The front grille splits down the center to reveal a mess of rotating gears and glowing internal processors. The rubber tires folded into the joints of heavy mechanical feet, and the roof of the cruiser collapsed inward creating a torso. He stood tall in the center of the open ground. He had long, multi-jointed arms end in massive, claw-like hands. His face had silver plating and four flickering red optics.

"Starscreen you were the one who called me here," Barricade responded as he walked closer to him.

"Me?" Starscreen said as he leaned forward. "I did not," he added.

"You did," Barricade replied as he raised his fist.

At that moment, headlights turned on. Starscreen and Barricade looked and saw a F-22 Raptor and a Dodge Charger.

The F-22 Raptor started to transform. The wings folded. The cockpit turned inside out. The body of the aircraft expanded. The gears shifted The F-22 Raptor changed. It was standing. He had a broad, bulky upper body with mechanical plating and sharp angles, resembling parts of a jet of a F-22 Raptor. His chest was wide and armored, with exposed pistons and wiring. His head was narrow with red, glowing eyes and a sinister expression. His arms are large and heavily built, with clawed fingers. His legs were bent backward at the knee. His back featured jet wings folded into a V shape.

Next to him the Dodge Charger changed. The hood splitted down the center. The heavy engine block sunk into the frame as the front fenders swung outward to form massive, armored shoulders. The doors slide backward and rotate, becoming part of a dense, multi-layered torso, while the roof and windshield collapse inward to make room for a shifting spine of gears and hydraulic pistons. The rear of the car elongated and snapped. The trunk and taillights are divided to form legs. He stood tall with a broad, bulky upper body covered in the reinforced plating of the Challenger's front end. His chest was wide and had a split grille as an armored breastplate was exposed. His head was narrow and sharp. He had a jagged metallic jawline and crimson, glowing eyes. His arms were massive and heavily built, ending in thick, clawed fingers.

"Like the Goddess said," Goddess Starscream sneered.

"They came running out, just as predicted," Goddess Barricade added.

The original Barricade shifted his weight. "Who are you both?" he asked in a sinister low-frequency rumble.

"You look like us," the original Starscream added. His optics flickered. "Your energy signatures," he added.

Goddess Starscream and Goddess Barricade shared a cold smile. "We are better than you," Goddess Barricade responded.

"The Goddess has chosen us," Goddess Starscream added.

"I will not ask again," Barricade demanded, "Who are you? Whose sigil do you carry?" he asked.

Goddess Starscream let out a high, melodic laugh. "Who are we?" he repeated. "Your death," he added.

Starscream opened his hand and showed a cannon. "You will die," he said.

At that moment, a towering Cybertronian warrior plummeted from the cliffs like a falling star. His heavy greatsword was already mid-swing.

The blade hummed with a high-frequency vibration and cut through the air with terrifying speed. With a sickening screech of tearing titanium, the sword bit through the joints of Barricade's shoulders. The Decepticon's heavy arms fell to the earth with one dull thud. There were sparks erupting from the severed cables.

"Ahhh!" Barricade roared. He staggered back. The oil and hydraulic fluid sprayed the ground as he spun around to face his attacker.

Standing there, unshaken by the impact of the leap, was a transformer. He wore a massive, reinforced helmet resembling a traditional samurai kabuto. He had the silhouette of an ancient shogun. His face looked like a cold, mechanical human skull with empty, glowing orange sockets. His chest and shoulders were draped in heavy, curved forest-green plating. He had yellow kneepads.

"Who are you?" Starscream shrieked as he panicked. He leveled his arm-mounted pulse cannon and unleashed a blast. The red blast went through the air.

"I am Bludgeon," he rumbled as he dodged the energy pulse. The blast went past him. He brought his greatsword down once more. The blade hit deep into Barricade's chassis. It carved a rift through his chest plate and sent the armless Decepticon reeling towards the canyon wall.

Starscream prepared to take flight. His thrusters began to hum.

"Leaving so soon, little seeker?" Goddess Starscream mocked.

Goddess Starscream and Goddess Barricade raised their integrated cannons. A twin barrage of divine violet energy tore through the air. The first shot slammed into Starscream's chest. His armour tore off. The second shredded his right arm.

"I need to get out of here," Starscream hissed as he scrambled backward.

"No, you are not," Bludgeon intervened. He appeared in Starscream's path. He swung his sword and cut Starscream squarely across the chest. The impact sounded like a church bell being struck by a sledgehammer.

Starscream collapsed to the ground. His wings bent and his spark flickered weakly. He looked up. "Why are you doing this?" Starscream asked.

Goddess Barricade stepped forward. His footsteps echoed. He looked down at him. The broken, armless robot.

Barricade tried to scramble back. His remaining servos sparked. He looked up at him.

Goddess Barricade`s right forearm shifted. The plate slided back to reveal a massive pulse cannon. The barrel glowed with a swirling energy that hummed. He pressed the muzzle directly against the original Barricade's forehead.

He fired the cannon. The discharge was blinding. A concentrated burst of violet vaporized the air around it. The force of the blast erased his face. The heavy metal skull was gone.

The faceless body of the Decepticon slumped backward Goddess Barricade stood over the corpse for a moment. The smoke from his cannon drifted.

Bludgeon loomed over him. Starscream wheezed. The internal cooling systems struggled to vent the heat from his shattered chest. He reached out a trembling, broken hand. "Wait I can, I can serve," Starscream rasped.

Bludgeon didn't even tilt his head. The orange glow in his skull-like sockets flared with a cold, unforgiving light. He tightened his grip on the hilt of his greatsword. "We have no need for you," Bludgeon rumbled. He drove the massive blade straight through the center of Starscream's chest.

Starscream's body arched. His thrusters gave one final, useless sputter of blue flame as the blade pinned him to the ground.

The red glow in Starscream's optics flickered wildly for a heartbeat before slowly dimming. The mechanical whine of his systems cut out completely.

At that moment, two large Cadillac Escalade-V drove forward and stopped. The front was dominated by a signature blacked-out mesh grille and vertical LED. It had multi-spoke gloss black wheels. The door opened and Yuuki, Tsunoda, Miura, and Marcel walked out of the vehicle.

Miura looked around. "They both are dead," he said.

Yuuki flicked a strand of hair from her face. "As the Goddess instructed," she replied.

Goddess Starscream turned his head slightly. "A necessary purging," he responded. "They still have not located the All-Spark," he responded.

"It seems like the Blackout of this world is already making his move," Goddess Barricade added. "He is preparing to attack a military base soon to hack their networks for more data on the Spark's location," he added.

"The Goddess said to let the big lug do the heavy lifting. He can draw the attention of the humans," he said.

Yuuki smiled. "We will try to find it as well. If Blackout uncovers anything, we'll be there to take it before he even knows what hit him," she said.

Marcel stood slightly behind them. He looked at the divine grace of the Goddesses. He thought the Goddess was going to save them. "With her power guiding us," Marcel murmured. "The All-Spark is already as good as ours," he added. He still did not know what it exactly was, however he did not care.

"Overlord is already in position as well," Goddess Starscream said. "He will move once we are ready," he added.

"We should keep low for now," Yuuki said. "And not arouse suspicion for the others," she added.
