Chapter 172 - Chapter 172: Sekirei

Meanwhile, in the past, on an island facility, there was a large base. The military base had several dozen soldiers guarding the place. There were numerous guard towers and tall fences. A soldier was wearing black goggles. He had a camouflaged jacket and trousers and brown shoes. He held a gun out. "We need to stop them," he shouted as he fired a round of bullets.

He fired at a woman. The woman was wearing a tight black and white leather top secured by belts. She had a black miniskirt and stockings, black boots, and a grey haori with the Sekirei Crest. She held a nodachi in her hand. She had long legs. She also had long light grey hair tied in a ponytail. Her eyes had bags. She smiled and rushed forward. She sliced the soldier in half. She then rushed forward and stabbed another soldier in the stomach. She drove the blade forward.

The soldier spat blood. "Go ahead Yume," she said.

"Okay Karaksuba," Yume nodded. Yume had a round face. She has brown eyes and brown hair. Her hair is styled in a hime cut. Her breasts were average. She wore a tight black leather top, a pair of black gloves with the number "08" written on it. She had a miniskirt and stockings covering her long legs. She also wore a grey cape with the Sekirei Crest printed on it.

Yume sprinted forward into a nearby building. She looked to see a number of soldiers in front of her.

The soldiers aimed their guns. in perfect formation. "Target acquired!" one shouted.

The soldiers pressed the trigger and gunfire erupted. Muzzle flashes lit the corridor in bursts of orange flame.

Yume saw them. She twisted her body mid-run, bending unnaturally as her silhouette became a blur. The bullets sliced through the air behind her, missing by inches. The bullets stuck only the walls and pillars she'd just passed.

Yume reached them in under two seconds. She grabbed the rifle mid-swing and flipped the soldier backwards, sending him tumbling. The second went down as she swept his legs and disarmed him in one motion. The third tried to raise his weapon however Yume grabbed the barrel and twisted it free, and struck the man with its stock before he could blink.

She stood over them. A few spent shell casings rolled across the floor behind her. She looked at another four soldiers in front of her. "She is an alien," one remarked.

"We need to kill her," another added as he raised his rifle.

Yume saw this and was already moving. Soldier Five raised his rifle. Yume pivoted, low and fast. She slid across the floor in a sweep that took his legs out from under him. He hit the ground hard, and before he could react, she disarmed him with a flick of the wrist and sent his rifle skittering across the tiles.

Then, Soldier Six charged in from the left as he tried to flank her. However Yume twisted his arm mid-swing and flipped him effortlessly over her shoulder. He crashed against the wall and didn't get back up.

Soldier Seven pulled a stun grenade from his pocket. He was about to take the pin off when Yume leapt into the air. She kicked the device from his hand and gave a quick jab to his pressure point knocked him unconscious in less than a second.

Yume then dashed forward. She moved to the final soldier. She saw he was trying to retreat, fumbling with his sidearm, however she snatched it away and jabbed his neck. He felt the pain of being punched and lost consciousness.

Yume stood alone, surrounded by groaning bodies and discarded weapons. She moved forward and arrived at the lab. It had sterile white walls and the lights flickered. It cast a cold, clinical glow on the room.

At the center, strapped to an examination table, was a young girl, wrapped in nothing but a damp, oversized towel that clung to her small frame. A large apparatus encased her head, lined with metal plating and glowing nodes. A network of translucent tubes connected the device to the ceiling and nearby machines.

The girl trembled.

Yume's fists clenched. She took the device off and put the small child into her arms and smiled. She walked slowly outside.

Karasbua stood amidst the chaos, a monstrous grin stretched across her face. Her eyes were wild. She looked at the towering piles of bodies in front of her.

There were limbs tangled. Faces frozen in agony. Some had uniforms scorched and torn. The ground beneath the pile was soaked in blood and hydraulic fluid, pooling around boots, bare feet, and broken tools. It was silent.

Karasbua turned slowly. She giggled, almost childlike. "I had to kill them. All of them. The weak slow us down," she said sweetly, as if explaining a chore.

Yume clutched the little girl. She was still wrapped in her towel. Yume pulled her closer, shielding her from the sight. She stayed silent.

Karasbua tilted her head, unfazed. "Feelings won't save anyone," she remarked.

Yume's grip tightened around the girl.

Meanwhile in the present time, the air cracked with the residual energy of the teleport. The group staggered slightly. They could feel the effects of the teleportation. It made them dizzy, but they quickly regained their composure.

"Everyone okay?" James asked.

Rei stumbled around getting their bearings. "I still haven't gotten used to it," Rei remarked. "It is my third or maybe fourth time," she added.

"It is getting better," Jasmine said as she shook her head.

"I still feel my stomach move," Saya added as she clutched her stomach.

"Do you need a sick bag?" Saeko asked. She had a smile.

"I am fine for that," Saya responded.

"Have we arrived where we wanted?" Lois asked as she looked around. They were in an alleyway.

"I think so," James responded. "We should hide our weapons for now," he added.

"What about those two?" Saya asked.

"Who`s Who`s," the jingle started to play.

"It will attract attention," Rei added.

"We have a place, I want to go but we need to do something first," James said.

"We can split up," Saeko suggested as she looked around.

"Is that a wise idea?" Saya questioned.

"I think so, look here," Saeko responded. The group looked around the corner and saw towering skyscrapers that pierced the sky. Their glass facades reflected scattered beams of city light. There were street lamps on the pavement. Cars cruised along the roads. On the sidewalks, they saw families strolling together. Children tugged at parents' hands, couples walked shoulder to shoulder, and laughter echoed faintly from a nearby café patio.

"It feels like a normal city," Saya remarked.

"It is busy with lots of people, when we went to your home Saya, it was not that busy," Jasmine said.

"It was like this before the attack," Saya responded sadly.

"I am sorry," Jasmine apologised. She felt bad bringing it up.

James put a hand over Saya`s shoulder. "We never know what life will bring so we just need to prepare and face it head on," James said. He added, "I will be there for you." He moved his hand over and squeezed her breast.

"You pervert!" she shouted. Saya thought that was a heartwarming chat and then he had to ruin it. His hand was still on her breast.

Lois giggled.

"This world is like the Monster Masamune world but without monsters," Rei remarked. "It was also very peaceful," she added.

"I do want to see that world as well," Jasmine commented.

"You can for sure, and soon we can go wherever you want," James responded as he squeezed Saya`s breast.

"Get off me," Saya said as she moaned.

"Danna-sama, you can squeeze mine," Saeko offered. She moved her chest towards James.

James thought Saeko had nice large breasts. His eyes move up towards the large screen.
