The Black Bear stared intently at the Golden Puppet before it, confusion and wariness flashing in its eyes. It could sense a dangerous aura emanating from the creature, yet it couldn't detect the slightest scent of a living being. This puzzled the bear, and a sense of unease grew within it.
"ROAR—"
With a bellow, it launched an attack, seeking to quell its inner turmoil with the heat of battle. It charged forward like a veritable ancient beast, causing the very heavens and earth to tremble.
The Puppet advanced to meet the charge, runes dancing across its body. Its golden light surged as if it had transformed into a beam of pure light. Leaping high into theair, it raised the Bone Rod in its hand and struck down with immense force.
BANG!
The strike descended like a bolt of lightning!
It moved so fast that it tore an afterimage through the air. The Black Bear couldn't even react before the rod slammed into its head.
